I don't play pugna, I thought the question was "If you would like to choose 3 supports as your most played hero, what would it be? and why?"
I would like to choose pugna to be epic with, but I am not very good with him. Pugna can have a huge impact every game. With aghs he can 1v1 any hero without a stun/silence to stop the life drain. His nuke is devastating to towers. He just lacks mobility.
My actual three best supports are lich, jakiro and disruptor. All fairly easy to play, high impact heroes if done right.
1. CM (High mana regen all match. 2' skill, good disable)
2. WR (Disabler, great iniciation after to be scaping w/3rd skill)
3. Pugna (He shits on magic (and almost all enemy spells) and, as the previous comment says, destroys towers in 2 secs). He's really one of my bests.
1.Earthshaker (he's awesome to play with, needs good timing and his fissure cockblocks hope)
2.Mirana (cat is fun and hit arrow = gg)
3.Sand King (sandstorm all day kappa)
1 - Earth Spirit - Because he is overpowered in the super very mega ultra epic high bracket and would be even more powerful in the normal-high-very high bracket.
2 - Io - Read #1's reason in similar fashion
3 - Enchantress - Late game right clicks. Puppey... teach me the way?
I'm not very good with them, and if I was maybe they would be mines ;)

WD = can play 2 roles at same time. Sick maledict and ulti -_-
Dazzle = Can combo against right-click hero + dafuq grave
CM = Great lane control like KoTL
