What the fuck holy fucking shit. Anyway animation for duel is somewhat broken lately I don't know what exactly's wrong with it, but people can now blink out of it sometimes, it used to be practically impossible in s1.
its his own fucking fualt for being trash and not using blink to get close.

Even if I didn't use blink, I still used my duel, and it didn't register, and Valve needs to address this bug/issue, which was the purpose of this thread lol. Not how I could of blinked into Natures prophet instead. If I blinked in, I would not have found such a bug like this and this thread would not have existed. spare your perfectionist comments.
its not a bug its meant to happen that way, the tp prolly finished casting before u dueled
Guys, Duel went on cooldown, that's the issue. In s1, if duel goes on cooldown, you'll cancel TPs, and any other channels or actions the target was doing, because duel goes on cooldown only once animation is finished, and the target is disabled. In Reborn, however, I've had a case where I duelled TA and duel went on cooldown, and THEN she blinked out... Something's buggy with cast animation.
S1 = animation starts = can be cancelled, does not go on cooldown
S2 = longer, buggy animation, can be cancelled, sometimes goes on cooldown for no fucking reason despite somebody not getting disabled in time and actually starting a duel
