The only possibility is tower gold. There is not enough gold from his team to do anything. Oh probably ksed roshan too...maybe.
Anyway the situation I imagine for this game is murs SF is farming his team while Morphling wave pushes a lane missing every lasthit but the range creep and takes towers on max agi.
Roshan kill doesn't give that much money, maybe 500 gold at max

How he got the gold isn't the question, the real question is why the hell he didn't get the manta (Dota 2 client)
Yeah, he can just afford manta...but that's the thing. I think he gets the last ~2k gold from the leavers and receives it while dead so he can't buy the manta recipe. Those leavers did not accumulate enough gold in the game to pay for more than that because the rest went into their deaths.
The team collectively lost nearly all the passive gold an 18 min game accumulates...maybe even more than that depending on how many times they died before and after leaving. The remainder of the gold is on their items, which morphling did not sell. He has to have taken at least 1 tower while SF was fountain farming...I think its actually 3 towers worth of gold. When you get the tower and are the only one in the game you get everyone's tower gold.
You know it could be that creeps took those towers and morphling was just hiding.
