Tried it.

Good as an alternate build in instances where farming BF is impossible but its generally bad. You farm ridiculously slow since you have no wave clear and your damage is shit without the manaburn (treads+urn+manta). AM isn't exactly a snowball hero as well.

So unless you have a horrible lane or your team is opting for some crazy early aggression/push, don't bother lol.

has anyone tried maelstrom if you can't get battle fury

yeah cos every AM game the enemy allow you to free farm for 20 minutes.

I was talking about some alternative old-school builds, for instance in 6.73 where AM had 1.35 BAT and people would go basher after treads.
