4k = omg this guy doesn't dive what a n00b and proceeds to die when he fails his gank >>> poor game mechanics
6k = better game mechanics
its all about risks and payoffs. Shit might look noobish but its extremely calculated. One of my trics is to appear noobish and end up outplaying the whole time, kills, towers and shit, only to get flamed by the enemies as lucky noob, fucking rat lucky shit, etc.
The difference between 6k and 4k is mainly how they farm, attitude, drafting and most importantly teamplay.
4k people are crying the whole game expecting people to read their minds, diving like retards and then proceed to flame everyone. After a couple of minutes 4k players stop farming and are wandering around the map without doing jack shit. Also they love to waste their time writing a flame essay than actually play the game.
Hows "6k" more toxic or whatever?
50%, if not more of my games today, has been with me + 4 6Ks. Nobody flames, but are focused on the game. Some trolls in voicechat, but thats about it.
The amount of toxicity has lowered extremely from 4k to 5k. + FROM PerosnAlEXperieNC
6K mmr players know when and how to kill someone I mean they know if they have enough damage to kill the enemy. 4/5K players well they just fucking go on anything they see on the map :D
4k players don't calculate stuff like total mana cost of spells, total damage, tend to forget to use stuff like magic stick, also they don't know the killing potential of most heroes so they tend to be out of position in lanes and die easily. If they're driven out of their comfort zone, they're not doing shit on the map and are just wandering around. The streams that you are watching is via the PoV of the superior player, most people will look rubish when playing against a pro.
I was playing troll pushing top tower when 2 enemies tp'd in. I couldn't run out in time cus one tp'd behind me but I could've easily popped bkb and tp'd out or just instantly tp'd out but my 3700 mmr brain doesn't make those kind of smart decisions so instead I went all yolo and tried to fight under the tower and died. Trust me there's tons of shit higher mmr players consider that you don't cus if you did you would also be higher.
If you can't tell a difference, than you are among this kinda players "OMG, he just used his skill how he is supposed to do".
Nope, dota doesn't work that way, and if you are 4k player (as I am) it is harder to tell the difference, becouse you don't pay attention on the "little" things better players do. Makes sense right?
Its like being dumb. You need to be smarter to actually acknowledge that you are dumb. You need to posses the skill of something, to see it's actual meaning. Im a philosofer, too bad im not so good at English.
Rather, the more we learn, shall we not thereby be able only to better compass out our ignorance? Did we live ten thousand years could we hope to solve the secrets of the suns, and of the space beyond the suns, and of the Hand that hung them in the heavens? Would not our wisdom be but as a gnawing hunger calling our consciousness day by day to a knowledge of the empty craving of our souls? Would it not be but as a light in one of these great caverns, that, though bright it burn, and brighter yet, doth but the more serve to show the depths of the gloom around it?
-Henry Rider Haggard
Philosophers have already conceptualised that centuries ago.

So i watched a couple of pro players stream (Dendi, Rtz, singsing) and i see the same mistakes which i see in my games. With the exception of the pro players, all the players i saw were overextending, not efficiently farming and the item choices were pretty much the same as i see in my games. Even the pros did some of this shit but i guess it's cause they are not tryhards in pubs. It's true that people had much better mechanics and all that jazz but still i can't say that these people are twice better than me. So could someone explain to me what are the general differences between skill levels cause i am kinda dissapointed from what i've seen in 6k pubs
