its actually a very strong item on bristleback, provided the state of the game puts you in a position where

a) mitigating physical damage is an issue

or

b) you have plenty of opportunities to smack people in the face

It's not core by any means, but can also be great. The main problem with that is you could just let your support get it and it will have the same effect. Also Bristle runs out of slots really fast when you get all that early game jazz like basi, vanguard, cloak, drums etc so he won't really have a slot for it.

You can buy any item for any hero.

You can not buy basher on troll, get your facts straight.

if I were safe lane farming bristle (or offlane on 3 lane) I'd consider getting one.

just as solo offlane, you prolly can spend the gold better.

Its stronk if you plan to fight early and find yourself tanky enough to skip vanguard.

I've had a lot of good games with medallion on him. Him and Lycan do really well with it.

PA and TA aswell, infact, alot of early mid carry can get it. I think its massively underrated.

what if teamm8 buys basher and troll picks it up

I think he would be able to pick it up, but wouldent work on him, On bb I like to go crimson guard, pipe, ac, s&y then for last item like blink feels like could be good.
