blink is highly situational, and if you purchase it, its always after HoD and S&Y, someimes even after ur next slot (usually skadi). you dont need early blink.
some people like to rush blink bkb against sniper, just to rekt him fast.
but i would say yasha+bkb then dagger is pretty fast to farm up, and nice buildup.

another question: is RoA really necessary for troll during laning stage? seems like a waste for me cuz i rather get fast HotD and Phase
RoA gives minor damages but enables you to spam spell quiet easily, you dont need the full upgrade to RoA, but RoB is sufficient. People mostly get it "Because why not".
Blink enables you to get solokills, gives you around an unobstructed 100~ms boost.
Ring of aquila is by no means required but it makes your early game a lot easier and it's cheap. With it you can spam spells to your heart's delight. Without it you will notice mana management is required. And the early stats are quite good for troll.
Shadowblade's probably better than blink for ganking pickoffs no?
sometimes you need to instantly go all over 1 target, shadowblade doesnt allow this because you are invisible but you have to walk up to the target, and if they have sentry or gem you cat get to it with shadowblade.
thats when dagger is better
