How do I improve my decision making? in General Discussion

http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1399019235 This game is an example, I made many mistakes early on, giving morph a free kill because I wasn't careful, fighting Wraith King instead of jumping the support/weaker targets and bad item choices, not paying attention to respawn times, overextending and missing chances to take objectives such as towers. Thanks to shred you to bits he pointed these mistakes out. Is there anyway of improving my decision making other then to keep playing?

        Stop being stupid.

No like rlly, lol. Even some 2k player can watch a pro stream and spot mistakes. The reason I feel every1 does bad decisions is impatience. People overextend all the time because theres nothing to do and people don't like standing there even when that should be the ideal choice.

Or teamfights, Enigma players or w/e get so trigger happy they always get cancelled. Same for supports not holding back their spells when enemy has some imba channeller like said Enigma. Ever watch some pro games and see how that Rubick absolutely refuses to join the fight so he can counter that Enigma/Magnus?

            Jiyo is right.

However if you really want to improve your decision making, go co-op and choose the difficulty Hard. Don't pick Unfair as the bots run on 0 ms reaction time and is bugged where they will immediately group up if one in your team has a kill lead. And they will do it for 30+ mins unless the high kill lead player starts to feed.

Anyways back to the point, go play co-op and learn farming patterns and when to defend and push.
I can tell you that if you start a new acc with 0 wins and play co-op it will be more difficult and the bots will mess with you a lot since your teammates will feed nonstop with 2k mmr against hard bots.

Personally, I did not practice real matches when I was shit, as one small mistake would cost me the game (pre-rubberband).
I had to wait the game to finish to try better whilst in bot games they wont push your T3 until 25 mins so you have a good chance to maximize your efficiency if you are willing.
You also get drops after the end of the game, so it is worth your time imo.
