Sounds amazing, i'm at 95 download, 10 upload, no lag issues anymore either. My upload is plenty for streaming at the highest quality and still playing games online. I live in California, the internet infrastructure isn't as shit here as it is in other states, so that helps too, it gives me an extremely low ping. But seriously, i'm happy for you, fuck those dark days, you know what i had for years until 2 years ago? 556 KBPS (you read right, KILO's) with probably less upload. It was hell, and i understand what you went through, i'm never going back to that shithole, it was really that bad, i can't say it enough. How many times have i gotten online desperately trying to play a game, just knowing my sisters would get home, and the first thing they did was go on Netflix, the moment that happened, especially during a ranked match in whatever game i was playing, i was done for. I pretty much LIVED in the AM, just so i could game online while everyone slept. Now it doesn't matter how many people are online, i don't lag.

Btw - 556kbps was actual download speed right? I didnt even have internet at home, i had it wirelessly over my uncle which already had shit internet - something similiar than yours with my cousin on it 24/7 :D
Yeah the average was 300-700 KBPS back in 2002-2006, now the average in America is 5 MBPS probably. Right now Japan and Korea have the best internet infrastructure, with a way higher average. The average UPLOAD speed is pretty low world wide though, many "casuals" don't know about upload speed, so internet companies hold back on that, and save money from your ignorance, and give you less of it. They give you the one thing most people want, which is to load pages faster, and youtube videos faster, and what gives you that? Yep, download speed. As the years go by, the internet starts becoming more and more bandwidth dependent, so if you have a 300 KBPS connection in 2015, i can only imagine how shit your internet experience is. In 2020, i'm guessing 480P will be the lowest setting Youtube has available, no more 144/240P, and whoever hasn't upgraded will be fucked, but I doubt they'll still offer that connection speed by then anyways. They already passed a law in America that the internet companies have to raise the speed of their cheapest packages in hopes in improving the internet quality in the average household, but of course internet companies are greedy and against it, but too bad for them, the bill passed. SO FUCK YOU TIME WARNER INTERNET. :D

In Romania internet infrastructure is pretty good. This is what I get for 7 euros / month.
Btw, these are Mega-bits, so my maximum download speed is ~12 MB/s
See even 3rd world romania gets 100 100 and for freaking 7 euro ^^ och vi bor i sverige BROR! ;)

I had 0.8mb upload on my old internet, and that if i was alone and had good signal. When my cousin came online it was pretty much 0 :D

I bought the fastest internet package and it still can't handle another device watching a video and me playing Dota at the same time . Maybe it's just the area I am in? I using time warner . what else could it be ?
What people don't understand is that the lower the ping the better, when it comes to playing games online, PING is ALMOST everything, and matters more than UPLOAD and DOWNLOAD speed. Lel You internet casuals
You can have 100/100 D and U, but won't mean anything if you have high ping cause of the area you live in. Anything under 10 is really good.

I'll show pic later but it's gots to be area I live , I am stationed on the border of Oklahoma and Texas and the town here isn't that large which I am located 10 miles from is 100000 population I wonder if my internet Goes down to Dallas before going to the east coast. I'll have to look into that later.

It's nothing special compared to most of you guys, but for me it means the world since i can finally relax and enjoy Doto without worrying about massive ping when someone is downloading like maniac or sudden connection losses n shit. The dark days are over i hope =)
