Looking to set up a new Dota 2 UK based team UPDATE!!! in General Discussion
DotShotgun

I post a couple of days ago about setting up a new UK based dota 2 team and the response has been amazing. 20 people have shown interest which is way more than I was expecting.

We have a lot of people wanting to tryout for positions 1 and 2 but 3,4 and 5 is a little lacking. You can still tryout for 1 and 2 but I'm really wanting people who can play offlane and support. The reddit post is underneath so if you can reply through that, and share it if you like, that would be awesome. This post has also been updated with new info about time scales and stuff.

    Last picking is 4 pussies

I'll bump this for the sake of seeing how a at ground zero startup does.

Havoc did you consider this and what role would you play? 4?

if you actually want this team to be successful and play @ the international i'd advise u not to create a team w/ 3-4k mmr people (just my 2 cents) might work, but i doubt it will.

I do want both of those things from this team but I don't have delusions of grandeur. It's going to be a number of years, and hella lot of work, before this team is good enough to play at TI level. Here's hoping that one day they do though.

                gl dude I think u will get LOTS of 1 / 2 position wannabe's

its so hard to find supports / offlaners

                  DotShotgun

Yep that's what the tryouts are for and yes it is hard to find supports/offlaners (in and out of the game) which is what this push is for. I play support myself so it's a role I'm going to be extremely thorough about.
