I don't like system where casters can only use their spells limited number of times. Mage forced to fight in melee after he used all his spells. This is wrong...
Dark souls.
I am not sure if this is kappa or not, you wont be doing that much role playing but the game its self is RPG like.
^^ Except when you've reached the point where you can't really do anything unless you pay for the membership and you are too cheap to ever bother.
2.6m for a bond on 07 is pretty expensive if u ask me. not to mention the bond is for 14 days, you pay 5.2m for 28 days when membership is 30-31 days if u buy with irl money, definitely not worth it to buy bonds.
you could play nethack btw. fucking old, but so awesome (mb too much rogue like though)
Eh, too many good ones for me to name, Ive pretty much played or HEARD of most RPG's by now.
wow just lost all respect for matrice, really? Da origions has awful plot and design? REALLY? It's one of the best rpg's ever, though yes, it's more of a for the masses rpg lite than a true hardcore rpg experience. And yes it does have poor difficulty designs. But the plot is awesome, the characters are awesome, the skill trees are fine and get the job done.
Try the witcher series, is really good too.
And I love mass effect 2 and 3 though they're much more like action titles than rpgs.
I recently read a manga "Re:Monster" and "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken". In both of them real person dies and reincarnates in game world. It's similar to "Sword Art Online" anime series.
I just want to know: is there an actual game all those animes and mangas based on?
P.S. I must look into JRPGs, I guess...
they are too rpgs, it depends on what kind you are looking for. Saying looking for rpg is very broad, there are tons of types of rpgs.

Can you recommend me some good single player RPG with deep system of skills/spells/talents/etc?
P.S. Happy New Year! =)
