in the vast majority of cases, people are agressive when feeling guilty/bad about themselves, but it doesnt necesarilly mean they are wrong. most likely, you both played bad.
But I don't care who's doing bad.
Flaming just shouldn't happen no matter what.
Now, there's a difference between playful trashtalk (which actually strengthens friendship between players) and flaming.
Flaming makes 2 people (or more) hate each other and want to stay as far away from each other as possible - not helpful in a team game.
Playful trashtalk is when 2 (or more people) are having fun trashtalking each other, nobody's getting offended. Like a rap battle, where both competitors know that they will be dissed and they're both having fun coming up with creative disses. This will make players work together as a team better, as well as even break the animosity with the enemy team.
Hes a relatively new player learning the ropes. If he takes our advice he could potentially climb.

In games lately, I have been flamed by my teammates for being bad or something while I think I'm doing fine. Are they just jealous or am I doing something wrong?
