General DiscussionUr opinion on players buying boots for starting items

If u buy it on shadow fiend you start with 355ms which is way more than what most heroes have, allowing you to kite easily and dodge skillshots etc

But i think its only actually decent on like ursa

So should i go Skadi before boots then?

Boots first is very good on certain heroes but only if u have extra random gold. If a hero loves ms a lot then they will like boots first, but even ursa doesnt want it. He can just start with oov, and he isnt THAT early game based. Maybe a rubick or undying or something. Treant too, try oov, tangoes, and windlace start.

Most of the times there's no reason to since you can just get it from the side shop and movement speed isn't that important for mids in the first few minutes. I guess you can surprise the enemy right at the beginning with a fast jugg spin or something.

It really depends. Even in 4k I go shoes first item sometimes on Huskor and get the easiest first blood you would ever imagine.

Sometimes multi-kills in less than 40 seconds.

it depends, now its shittier, because you buy boots and have no regen, but suicide isnt worth anymore, but you run to base faster.

I feel like starting with a windlace+more Regen is a better compromise for most cases on those heroes though.

good on ursa and i usually go as suport if offlane is melle

Oov and boots is the way to go if you random

Boots first if u need to roam. On huskar and jugg and even ursa if u can get first blood really early with it
