that's just like saying 1 in 100 players is 5k
that is not actually that good
aussie is hard af lol, i could tell the skill level is higher here compared to sea servers. Probably the same for eu and na, theres alot of mmr inflation in servers with a larger playerbase
everything i do is sloppy as fuck. 6-7k players think more about the win condition, have crisp mechanics in lane, generally intelligent picks/playstyle, effective map movement.
one of my games compared to a 6-7k avg game on some stream, much less careless showing on the map, positional errors are very quickly abused, if you are slightly out of position you WILL be chain stunned, if a carry snowballs he will farm 700-800 gpm, game over
sometimes people dont even have to be pma or be super focused. theyre just way better and it shows over the long run
any super in depth answer is going to have to be given by someone whos actually higher mmr, obviously if i knew everything 7k did i would not be 5000 mmr
a little luck doesnt hurt. ive won 13 of my 14 last ranked games picking only top tier heroes and playing my game, but ive only had 1-2 times my teammate tilts out and many more times the enemy tilts, which is the most common cause of the classic "unwinnable" game

Because I want to know those things so I can work on those things myself, e.g 6k players, 7k players, 8k players, 9k players etc. What makes them good and what thing separates 5k from 6k, 7k from 8k.
Playing in aus server I get a lot of mixed mmr, from 4.7k average games with a 6.7k player on the enemy team to 5k games with a 7k on the enemy team. Honestly with the 6k players they seem to just be improved 5ks. They do everything 5k players do better, I'm not sure if thats the best way to put it, but 6k players make more good decisions, they're more improved, they have better mechanics and have great game sense, map awareness and can make plays with any hero. I think it's similar with 7k, they do what 6ks do but better. Also they also know the limits of their heroes very well, it's hard to catch them etc.
Also does anyone know how aus skill compares to other regions? E.g how does 5k/6k aus compare to Eu 5k/6k etc.
Basically I want to get good, but what aspects will make me better? Do I need to just keep playing? Or polish up my mechanics and work on game sense and decision making?
