As support player, I find more important to harass and ensure your carry has an easy time farming. One ward is usually enough to prevent mid ganking.
When you go stack or pull, you leave the carry uncovered, so most likely he can't farm without risking to get killed.

i know what your saying i play support allot also. but y push the lane when at all y not freeze it so you can chance apon free kills i mean i always aim for a kill at level 2 depending on the lane i mean with proper lane control you can just destroy an entire game. i honestly believe you can win a pub with how you spend the first 10 min of a game

When I started out I got told not to auto attack and push the lane, I later found that the two predominate reasons to not push the lane was to make it easier to kill your lane opponents and making it harder to be ganked by mid.
I know this is a bit of a generalization to pub strategy, but for the longest time I have been finding it hard to find pub games that can control there lanes so am I missing a new meta or am I simply being matched with idiots.
on a side note when it comes to pulling your lane i thought the goal was to deny your creep wave and get some farm for your supports the deny being the most important because it keeps the wave closer to your tower, Is it so important to deny the creeps, is pulling with out stacking or double/ triple pulling worth it
How come people do not control there lanes :( or even know what lane control is and still make it past 50 wins
