Have you seen slarks profile? He picked slark last 6 games, probably went mid. Just one of the trash players that cant understand that this is a team game and he cant always has hero he wants. Nothing MM can do against retards like that as they tend to play ok most of the games.
I don't understand bracket either, Zeus in this game: http://dotabuff.com/matches/280589262
Less than 100 games, probably not a smurf since he pick Zeus last, goes mid, insult me "FUCK YOU NOOB GO AWAY " when we try to explain he should go in a lane (so ofc i stay mid, he made me mad), feed then afk etc ... I think he's the worst player ... no, person, I met in dota 2. I don't have any problem with bad player, when they listen to more advance player and try to help the most they can, but he was a dota nazi >_<.
Sooooo....... How this kind of player totally new to dota can be in my games (not the first time)
@Atilililililililili He meant the game Luxon played in.
Also I feel bracket isn't all its made out to be. You will get winners, losers, shittalkers, noobs, fantastic players, and the rest in all the brackets. I have played Normal, High, Very High and I honestly can't tell the difference.
If you start a new account it will probably put you in very high from the start unless you are batshit bad. Just cause you have a new account and are in High Skill doesn't mean all the people there deserve to be.
the reason the brackets are so fucked atm is because the game was release only a few weeks ago so there are millions of new players atm.
so to keep all the brackets with enough players noobs get moved up making other noobs win games in brackets they should get slaughtered in.
so the normal-high is still really sketchy.
The Very High bracket seems pretty solid though.
i have played solo vhigh for the last like 8 months and only every 7-8 games will there be a couple people that to seem to belong there
As with any ELO-based system, ratings are wildly inaccurate for any given player's first set of games. Since dota is a 5v5 game and not a 1v1 game like chess, this first set of games is much larger - somewhere on the order of 200 matches will likely be required before any player's ELO settles to somewhere representative of their ability, whereas in something like chess you might expect to see some degree of accuracy within 50 games.
This does result in many situations where games are tagged 'high skill' when they clearly are not so, but that is an unfortunate side-effect of the system being used. The only practical solution would be to force players with below a certain number of matches into the low ("normal") bracket, but if you do that you open the door to the so-called smurf accounts who only want easy wins. The fact is, any solution you use has drawbacks.
even my smurfs are on very high, and people are quite bad http://dotabuff.com/matches/312880416
Smurfs can get into V.High bracket much faster and easier than regular players, it is because of the anti-smurf logarithm.
If u happens to win ur first game or 2 with a high KDA, u can immediately get to V.High bracket.
On this account, when I play solo, I get into Normal bracket, when I play with some friend on his smurf account, I would queue on High bracket, although he plays on Normal bracket when he solo queues from that account.
And his main account is mostly Normal bracket.
terrible system. vhigh players think they are so pro they can do everything on their own. afk farming 30 min, trading t1 for rax, they don't care. as long as you are not a good mid player how can easily pubstomp, but rather player support or even hard carry (without proper support), you are pretty much fucked, because you cant turn around a game that easily in the early stages of a match.
people don't get the team game aspect and think they are the best and can win any game by themselves. it's sad, really

first picks slark and meepo. slark goes mid and someone picks sniper and calls mid. dual mid. visage goes bot to support meepo. last pick alchemist also goes bot. top free. slark feeds 2 kills and ragequits. also there was a double mid from opposers ogre + TA.
question: what does skill bracket filters do?
team radiant 20-50 wins
dire all private.
