î used to do it in germany, 3 years ago, had constant 70ms to eu west BUT dced when it started raining
HSDPA, 7 mbps
90ms ping on EU East. Didn't notice any difference than with my home connection. Very stable, no disconnects.
Takes around 40 MB of data per game. Can be reduced with console commands.
It entirely depends on signal strength and your provider.
HSDPA is 3g for ur info. Played on 3g network a while back while i was in college. Got good pings while playing during off peak hours. During peak hours (evening mostly) ping was mostly dependent on network congestion. 3g is sufficient for dota 2. 4g should obviously give good pings. But cant confirm. No 4g network in my country yet.
My brother plays on 4G, through tethering on his Samsung GS4, and he has 120 ms, 50 mbps down and 16 up. Never disconnects.
Speed test over 4G tells me I have 6.6 mb download and 3mb upload.
Edit: Provider is EE
I played with simple 3g, 60-100 ping depends on weather etc, it was stable, no dc. Maybe with extra bad weather idk, but that can also ruin cable connection so. Usually it was fine.
how do you not know if you didn't dc when you got bad weather.. i dont even
anyways thx for your answer, looking for more 'experiences' with 4g

tell me your ping, how stable it is, how often it disconnects you, packet loss? missing projectiles such as potm arrow, last hits and stuff?
thanks
LTE advanced, HSPA+, hiperman, HPS,A HSDPA etc please specify, not interested in assumptions/theories keep that shit to yourself
