The reason this item is so common is because it's fucking awesome. Seriously, it's the first arcana i ever wanted to have myself.

nooooooo, the only reason ppl buy it is because you can farm sets, as drops slowed down so hard this is best way to get them back.

Oh does the blade change colour or something after a couple of wins? and contracts what are those about.

Ynit is correct in regards to drops, I haven't dropped anything in game since they changed it and in all my games 1 opponent has gotten a uncommon NP set. Only Arcana I have bought because I think it looks insane and played 1 game out of 5 last night and whole team dropped rare invoker set.

Granted PA is in every game now but I think its kind of fun having a mini game within the actual match. Sure Valve going to make a killing but game is free and no one is forced to make the purchase.

I think Lina arcana is better

I hate PA with a passion so this event is like the worst shit ever now that she is in every game. The Arcana itself doesnt fit her either. Its way too bright and flashy which is completely agaisnt the concept of the character. Best Arcana in the game is still Legion Commander by far imo.

Now that I've further looked into the PA arcana it seems to offer alot more features compared to other Arcanas. Bright and flashy, idle blur animation, attack animations, voice alteration, bundle farming from contracts, evolving weapon.

Yeah but it's something valuable. So even if you don't like it you are happy just because it's valuable (like TB arcana).

The blade changes color after a certain number of points are achieved. (purple blade at 40 points, red/orange at 100)
You get 3 points for every match you win before December 7th (with any hero).
You get 1 point for ever match you win after December 7th(*must be won as PA*).
(this mechanism, the item set drop mechanism, and the price "reduction" influence us to want to buy it now vs later).
