they literally had 0 storm counters, he was 0-4 before he hit lv 6 then the other team could not hit him
i just discovered he had like 1k games in sea and i played some games with/against him

but he seems pretty legit in DAC so far
At first I thought "Why would EG suddenly take this guy?" and after that they didn't really do that well in D2L finals. So I was worried for them. At DAC, he proved why he was taken to the team I guess. Also I don't know why so many people are going over his age. Being young is only a good thing in Dota really. And to be honest, even Blunt could achieve that success with that EG team I think. The other four are just that good.
So this guy is 15 (I am 17) and already has shit loads of money and here I am not even getting a job at McDonalds.
> Life is hard!
Exactly, my thought Sam. When i even learned he was like 15, i was like, heck, you made big mistake EG. Well i was wrong.
i was watching eg vs navi and eg vs secret
he did nothing impresive in any of those games tbh he just got carried by remaining 4 in his team
hes technicly xbox of eg that plays mid
he is actually feeding but the team works around it. The picks are just so good that it almost doesnt matter what he does as long as he doesn't get destroyed. Vg used the wrong approach. Focus fear/universe and see if sumail can carry the team-->obv he cant because in that case the team won't be able to back him up and just lose slowly but surely.
Anyway grats fear :D! finally my TI3 EG level 10 pennant is worth smth ^^
The ending ceremony interview was amazing...
If we name the new storm spirit as Sumail, what do you think of that?
Sumail: "I would be really happy.... I think I deserve it"
What would you say to kids trying to become like you...
Sumail: "Work hard, dont lose your passion... What can I say... it is really hard to be like me"
Suma1l won a major LaN.
Time for angry dota posters to come out and talk shit about him.
Guy played extremely well compared to others in his position.
Exactly, i would answer in the exact same way as him, because he can, and he doesn't give a fuck
Got matched with him once he fed hard and tried to add me to friends, i just ignored him.
It's not about him being "egoistical" and "over-confident?", but he is new to English which makes him unable to say what he really means.
I mean yes, he's confident (which is an extremely good thing), but he would answer differently if English was his native language, that's quite obvious even for the average human.
AFAIK he started speaking english 1 year ago or something, if this is the case then his english is pretty good
but yeah he still can't really express his thoughts/feelings perfectly
no need to use english as excuse. i know literally 10ish 15yr old kids who think they invented a wheel just coz they are good at dota.
not the first time, nor the last time someone behaves/acts like that.
it doesnt bother me personally what so ever, i just happen to dislike playing pubs with such people. thats all.
Someone seem salty cause this kid is succesful, living the dream someone wanted to live.
"it doesnt bother me personally what so ever"
there is nothing to read between the lines, its just what it is.
You seem very static in your opinions.
Just because you know of some blalbalba doesn't mean everyones like that.
A friend of mine from Gaza has lived in Norway for 7 years and he still fails to express what he means, and it's often in an arrogant tone even though he don't mean it that way.
IG lineup is gonna be really stacked for TI5 according to reddit :P
Although I saw this on reddit that Farrari even said Suma1l is just like him when he was young :P or even better
I played with the kid plenty of times in pubs. He was very clear every time on mic. His written english is also good.
I draw my conclusion from that, im not blindly guessing. I would be actually surprised if anyone didnt think like that who played with him (aka d3mon).
And like i said, he aint first nor last. Good for him tho, playing for eg at the age of 15 is nothing short of amazing.
im just surprised that all these "young dota prodigys" come out a the meta hat requires 0 individual skill
Haters gonna hate on that young kid saying he's nothing special, but the FACT is, that even after that 0-4 awful start, he just fuckin played like a beast and came back EXTREMELY fast, having 14 min bloodstone ffs. Always in the right spot on the right time. Of course EG team individually is great (Universe buybacks were insanely good), but the chemistry they displayed was just remarkable and Sumail worked pretty damn great with them. He is really talented young player, but despite having awesome individual skill, his decision making and the way he works with those guys - that's his real strength.
Beast from Pakistan will rek anyone including black and shitty iceice scrub
I'm glad for aui more than anyone.
gets kicked off from shitty clown9 and lands in the awesome eg. couldn't ask for a better trade.
Yup, Aui is real winner here. That was just plain stupid for him to play in clown9 amd painfully to watch
Fear "We stopped doubting ourselves" <-- basically a large part of their victory I think... And the kid saying I think I deserve it is funny cos the crowd are looking for some sort of funny answer and saying it's hard to be like him is true... he had skill, talent and luck... sounds pretty hard to have all 3 of these to me.
Also, he is a good player but he was learned by his brother and Universe since he was little. SO its not a big deal, when u play 5 years + dota and some1 professional learns you how to play.
Kids can be learned to be genious in chemistry, physics etc. if they get a good teacher and if they have alot motivation. Nothing special about this kiddo.
sometimes language mistakes are not that important, but in this case the shit got rly serious, man.
@Николай Левчанский!
i know chemistry really good, can i make you next Otto Hahn? stupidity in your replay amazes me.
It's just one good game and everyone is praising him, geez get over it… People always overvalue the finals
his a very talented young kid, and able to make good decisions with his team, but he over extends sometimes, still his interview answers are like wtf, "if you don't go full pro then you shouldn't play the game"....huge talent, big ass ego
Your ego is not a negative quality if your expectation is to win a major competition and you win it.

Ok, this guy is like Insane. I had a job Interview and couldn't watch live, now i saw on YT his storm game, holy fucking shit, what the heck was that.
Like this guy, will gonna play dota for next 10 years, i can't imagine how great he will become.
