Yes. And my opponent also usually waits for a while as well as long as my team is being polite about it. They will more or less wait around 3 minutes at most though before they start resuming. It's rare occurrence for them to wait longer than that.

In All-pick => 75% of time we wait 2min. 25% of time 1/2 retards spam unpause
In CM => 95% of time we wait 5min.

Can you post your mmr and the % of unpause in AP ?

I have at least 40% unpausings (4,6 MMR). I was thinking that if you unpause you help your team to win. But before 1 week understand that this doesnt make you a better player and just show how desperatly you are trying to steal the game (if you lose). I start to wait pauses now and be more manner and patient. I think that this will make me a better players, but im sure i will miss some oportunity to easy get mmr. At least mb i will get some respect in my teammates.

Try to be manner as much as possible.

Suit to the hidden mmr rumor, it seems that Valve try to match you (in solo queue) with people who get the same number of effective report than you.

For my part, most of my game people are manners.

I agree with Pfeupfeu. Try to be as courteous as possible to your opponents and teammates. It will pay off.

He is not in normal skill bracket, he plays in normal mode.

Why he do this? There are less tryhard in normal mode than in Ranked mode. So, if you are a big tryhard, more chance to win and get decent stats.

i pause the game when required . still dont hv mmr games but i guess i l reach around 7-8 k. i pause the game so that guy doesnt feel harrassed by wutevr situation has caused it. i want it all fair. unfortunately some opponent (jugg) abandoned last game bcoz i ws tanky axe and their teamwork ws not okay. jugg felt alone and quit... so no point pausing for him but wish him a better team! good luk.

3.3k party MMR. Haven't calibrated solo yet. Yes I do wait. If I'm on a bit of a schedule and don't have hours on end to wait I'll give the common 5 minutes. But if I'm playing on a free day or whatever I just ran over and entertain myself with something else while their teammate sorts whatever is going on out.

I normally pause for my teammates because I want to win. Thus I occasionally lie about knowing whoever dced so I can pause the game for longer period of time ^^

the instant unpauses are another reminder of the toxic nature of the pub community.

one one minute pause per player per game. only a teammate can unpause it.

if someone randomly pauses in a game there is probably a reason for it, it is just common courtesy to at least give them a chance to explain.

to be honest, this does appear to only be a problem that affects us plebs. in the high mmr games it seems people always wait a reasonable amount of time.

Yes, if someone pauses and says "1 sec gotta go take a crap" or if someone is DC'd and they say "Wait for X to return plz"

Depends how the game is going normally. Like if the game is very one-sided I don't care much to pause (nor does my team or enemy usually). But otherwise I always try to pause.

I wait out dc's but not regular pauses with zero explanation.

I'll always wait, it's polite and I hate thinking our win was only due to an unfair advantage, sure the game is hard but I don't want to win by unfair means.
Although if we're waiting for someone with a private steam profile then I'm less inclined to pause or wait more than a couple of minutes.
I always ask the other team wait for our reconnecting player.
