not sure you can "gift" it.
last year I got mine via trading, so maybe you have to trade it?
edit to clarify I meant you can't gift wrap it. gifting it in trade window should work tho.

Can anyone answer it? The items that you get, are giftable, tradeable, marketable or what?
Compendiums are not tradeable and marketable for 1 week after purchase
