Thanks guys :D
@Dan
Actually the difference between 1k and 2k in teammates is massive, kinda why I climbed the last 700 mmr so fast
That and Havoc taught me how to play wraith king
And the end of sniper/troll era helped a bit xD
At 800 mmr it just seemed like every game was 50/50 especially as a support
Congrats, you got out! Hope to follow you there, atm im at 1500. Never play as support if you want to climb, because carries at this level WILL FAIL, no matter what you do.
amazing work, i went from 2.1 to 3.1 in a month, now i'm fucking stuck, beating these 3K kids is easy, but apparently not easy for me if i'm rising, the falling every 3 games, i feel like the teams get fucking worse and worse the higher you go. Plan? Get good enough to stomp a 3K team by myself. zzzz
dotabuff says i have been selected to join their programme that allows me to track my mmr. It says i have insuficient data and i have been playing ranked for 20+ days and on average 4-5 games per day. How much longer untill i have this option opened to me?
What did you calibrate at and when? What do you think changed that allowed you to climb so much? Either you are smurfing or you are not near your actual mmr?
@Pedro
Definitely not a smurf, If I was I am a very very bad smurf :P
I calibrated level 13 at around 600-700
I then played ranked games on and off, got as high as 950 but then still dropped down as low as 700 (which is in picture)
But up until that point the majority of my games had been in normal match making
After completing all hero challenge (beginning of April) I got stuck into ranked and have mainly played ranked since and I think that is why you see a rise
--> I mean in normal mode I had 100+ wins more then losses --> which is about 2400 mmr added from calibration, so I think the 600-800 in ranked was a bit low...
@Dedpul
1) Did you add the bot and all that stuff?
2) Is your steam/dota profile set to private? It only works if it's not on private, and you have to play a non-private ranked game
yo crudude, how did you end up in 600 mmr in the first place anyway? and what made you feel motivated to climb out and play ranked?
Yo intentions, I probably sucked! I calibrated my games on CM while I was still very new to the game xD
Don't know if it was too low for me, but I know a lot of people who are relatively new who have calibrate under 1k
What motivated me? Embarrassment of having such low mmr :D
