Having less things to focus on can improve your thinking for other things if the drawback is not too bad. Same reason i sometimes just keep treads in a slot I have no key bind to.
I don't/can't tread switch during fights unless I'm like running and need to grab some hp to survive or chasing for that last stun and switch to int, but switching on say slark to conserver mana in the middle of a fight is too hectic. I'll do it when farming though.
@luxon i guess thats the difrence between pro and normal players like me
@OP he's nub for sure xD
^ yes could be.
@ luxon and dire wolf; true, it is hectic and may come at the cost of ur focus. at the same time, it could make important differences. Like using intel treads to initiate chrono then switch to agility to right click as void, or the one that requires the most getting used to; using razes and requiem with intel as sf then immediately switching to agility to right click, or to str if u getting low. Anyway in this match i think he actually did miss some kills bcuz of not toggling. so probably misplay imo

I'm used to toggling dusa's split shot in fights - sometimes u want to have it on when u think u can kill them all, but many times u also want it off when u want to burst down a priority target, since having it on reduces ur dmg.
In the IG vs VG TI6 qualifier match 430 just keeps the split shot on. no mater the situation. I mean, if u watch the match u can see that he clearly missed some kills in fights by keeping split shot on, which reduced hisdmg throughout the fights, and at some points enemies escaped with a sliver of their hps remaining.
Can someone explain 430's decision to never toggle split shot off no matter what, to me? One argument may be that the spread dmg cancels enemy blinks but why forsake kills for it? I just can not understand this. He cud hav bursted down many of the low health targets if only the split shot was off.
