Viper shit on axe hard it's not even fun.

Problem in 1k right now, team with axe is has high percentage to win. So maybe hve other advice like hero and item to counter him? Try to kill him, his blade mail is op as fuck, he tank as fuck. Damn man. Really hate that hero.

Actually i once get kill by axe,although been protect by shallow grave haha. But good advice all of you giving. Rod of atos? I rarely use, any pro mind sharing how to use it against axe. I remember that item will slow him down for few second.

also Axes ulti (if your hps are under the treshold) goes through shallow grave, borrowed time, BKB etc but is blocked by Linken's.
Axe is usually good against Slark since he can just b-call him while Slark uses his ulti...

Especially early game i also having trouble laning against axe. Waiting for a good advice.

Easy counters for him in the laning stage are nukes and ranged heros, to counter his initiation just buy a Eul's.

I found Pugna to be pretty useful. If you don't get caught in the call, you can just decrepify Axe when he calls your teammates. Then they wont be able to hit him meaning his blademail and counterhelix wont do anything. (It doesn't stop them being taunted. They just stand there for the call duration unable to hit him.) If axe managed to blink on you though, you're pretty much dead.

Along a similar line, Shadow Demon and OD can also banish axe when he calls your teammates making them unable to hit him and kill themselves.

OD counter everythings but his time has passed..

Bloodseeker can fuck axe early game even late game

Omniknight is a big axe counter, okay he doesn't stop Axe's pure damage, but omni's spells are a good response to axe's good team fight abilities
The enemy team can't exactly follow up on who ever Axe "calls" , because omni has his ult, a free bkb spell, and a heal that does aoe pure damage ...

Early game Axe can have a tough time dealing with that level 4 purification hitting him, if you win a few fights in the beginning than Axe doesn't exactly get to snowball ,

I would say omni is a reliably good hero against him ..

Right now Axe is very strong, he's tanky, he deals a lot of damage, he scales well early and late game..

So a lot of heroes don't counter him right now, which is what makes him META..

At the same time tho, a lot of heroes do counter him in the right situation..

Necrophos can rape axe, IF you have a team with heroes who can output a lot of damage to the Axe to get him low enough for you to use your ult, If your teammates heroes lack damage, then it's unlikely you can reliably get axe to low enough hp to use ur ult on him throughout the match..

OD can be good vs axe because of the pure damage, and OD's Ult, AND.......

ASTRAL IMPRISONMENT, oh axe blinked and use call? put his ass in astral imprisonment and he is out of the fight for like 3-4 seconds, INSTEAD of doing like 1000+ damage to ur whole team cuz he caught 3 heroes with his call..

that could actually save u from losing a match ;)

Or if axe calls 1 hero, u can put ur teammate in astral,

id say OD is good vs axe but OD needs a good laning phase or else axe with a blink can fuck him up early.

Timber is good vs axe, he reduces his STR , and he does pure damage, so the 40 armor from call is ignored..

Storm is kind of good vs axe cause he can dodge the call and he can do magic damage, and he can use his W on axe in the right times to kind of.. stop him from doing what he wants to do, storm offers some control.. and kind of forces axe to get a bkb or a pipe .. In a way..

invoker is good vs axe, but it has to be a good invoker

Ursa is good vs Axe if u can avoid being called,

Life stealer is good vs Axe cause he is tanky and he takes % of axe's hp which is a lot since axe has a lot of hp

Wraith King is tanky as fuck, and does TONS of damage if you get in his face..

If axe calls u and uses blade mail, even if he takes 1 life, he can't leave cause of your ULT unless he has force staff, you revive, stun him, his blade mail and his call are on cool down, and he is most likely dead.

Mid: invo, zeus (but dont let him catch u), lina
off:sand king, enchantress, timber
Support: phoenix, veng

Against eg. Axe + lich offlane combo which is pure cancer

any support with slow + Lifestealer or Ursa. U wont be able to farm with any other hero.

if you know he is going to be jungling then you can ruin his life as Riki :>
