    I have a spare 3000 kilojoules for my daily calorie limit since I only had a 900 kilojoule salad for lunch so now I get to have a dinner for Sunday night. I can either get a hamburger and chips, or I can order Italian paste (spaghetti etc) but only one at one time.

    So which is better? I also prefer to have a coffee (cappucino) for dinner instead of wine or soft drink if that helps.

        Hamburgers are pretty shitty. Depending on how they cook it, pastas can give you a lot of gas at night. Make your happy choice.

          Sandwich and chips is the lazy man's burger and fries.

          Otherwise pasta, depending on your mood.

          Burger's are manly though so I am far more often in the mood for burgers than pasta bowls.

                    3000 KJ? obviously you want to lose weight so you should definetly eat pasta which is a lot healthier as long as you dont take the 3x cheese version

                          Theres a reason why Grils dont east carbs like pasta. Also hamburgers are AMAZING!

                                  The place serves it in a big emptied out pecorino cheese wheel and it is the restaurant specialty apparently.

                                                    I have actually been doing pretty good. New lower calorie diet started 18 April, last I checked (last weekend) was down to 74kg from 82.7kg, also down to 14% body fat from 20%. Not quite abs yet but there are the promise of them :s. Once you get down this lean though the stuff starts getting a lot harder to lose, I will probably be maintaining around this weight/bf until spring comes and I can go out for a run without my hands freezing off. Could lose it faster but I need the cheat meals >_<

                                                    Weekends are the days I have a bit more cheat meal stuff, usually it's just fruit for breakfast, a roll or a chicken salad for lunch, fruit for snacks, cappucinos to keep me sane, not usually enough calories left over for dinner so I skip it on weekdays and only get it on the weekend.

                                                        Here i make this almost every day for dinner, its my recipe.
                                                        Pizza Bread
                                                        you need
                                                        1 baguete, not that long and a little bit fat or 2 breads like this
                                                        ham,cheese,bacon, tomatos, anything that you want to put in (corn/peas/onions).
                                                        Mayo/Margarine/butter

                                                        First you cut open the top part of the bread, just the cap, them take all the mass inside and push agaisnt the walls
                                                        put the Mayo/Margarine/butter on the walls, them the ham covering the walls, them put bacon on the bottom, just one slice, them put the other things Tomatos/corn/peas/onions, cover with more ham, them the cheese, them you put the top back (the inside part of the top must have Mayo/Margarine/butter), put cheese on the top them you can have some very small pieces of bacon in the cheese, or you can put this like in pizzas.

                                                        Put on the oven, and just wait, i just take them out when the cheese at the top starts going darker and the top bacon is ready.

                                                        Until its ready, take some oranges and make a natural juice, to drink with the pizza bread.

                                                          OP, are u a woman? And anyway, how tall are you? 74 kg is already quite low weight (depending on the size, so if you're like 1,60m probably not). Also you will likely not gain abs just by losing weight, or actually you will but they'll be skinny abs. It's actually nothign special and it just looks like you're never getting anything to eat. (Source: am skinny)

                                                                      @spunki, guy, and I work out. At 180cm my current BMI is 22.6 so pretty much dead in the middle of normal range BMI.

                                                                        Dude context. There's like a million variants of pasta and hamburgers. Plain old spaghetti with tomato sauces is extremely overrated but if you add some saute'd onion and bell peppers and red pepper flakes to jazz it up it's a ton better. Same with burgers, plain hamburger, meh, but add blue cheese and crispy onion straws and that's close to burger heaven.

                                                                          I wake up everyday n have a mix of my fav fruits n veggie mixed with water in a blender.

                                                                          I like to put beets, pine apple, all kinds of berries, lime, mango, banana , broccoli, aloe, mix with water.. blend it .

                                                                          Tons of nutrients.

                                                                          When you cook, you need lean meats, complex carbs..and a variety of nutrients
