this happen to me once.
i got abandoned in my ranked match because electricity issues.
when i reconnect back, i knew they gonna sells my items, and my gold 0, so yeah i abandoned.
but i tryhard help my team to win, i said nothing, and i don't blame my team (maybe enemies team unpause it, and my team so broke, they need quick cash)
at the end, we win and i got my +25, and it does not count as abandon.
don't know tho in the world i get +25, and after that match i just say thank you and do some prayer to lord Gaben.

Afaik when u get abandon, u lose mmr no matter u win or lose.

i'm sure i abandon at that moment, then after we win, the scoreboard shown that i got +25

I can do shitty things and abandon the game and my team win the game for me.Do I deserve +25? I don't think so.

since dotabuff not so update with "chat" part in the match tab year ago
so, just consider i am drunk right now xD
it's not like you do it on purpose, afk farming then abandon to give that gold to your team and then go reconnect to claim your +25.
i think in dota2 they know when you "press" the abandon button intentionally or you dc (offline)for 5 min because of other factor

Enemy team dominated us early game but we got a good chance to cumback with OD growing fat. Bcuz of some technical issues with my PC, I got dc for some minutes and wtf ?? team sells my item! I was helping them cumback & this is what I get?
So I started feeding and feeding and we lost. ez :D
