I have tried playing IO in sub 2k mmr games.

while i think i can play the hero decently it needs a good coordination with your carry which never happened for me.

"yo this dude is solo pushing lanes lets jump there and kill him, come here PA"...not going to happen in normal skill

IO is good if you have a good teammate just like Thanks said.

IO is one of those heroes where communication is necessary

On Io you need communication back an forth, ergo if Io's teammate doesnt communicate, he's not using his potential

io's fine, fun hero, but only played him like once this patch. you dont need to be on next level communication to win with him but obviously it makes a huge difference

I am sub 2k mmr but have 100% win rate for io solo ranked
he is a good support with heal, aoe and a position/escape utility

also io one of the lowest winrate heroes cuz even if all players are proficient, it needs communication which is hard to achieve in pubs

also his skillset is super complicated

lowbies can't understand that.

That's why the hero doesn't just need players who know how the game works, the hero needs them to be communicative as well. And not flame "quack quack" into mic communication but actual, sensible conversations much like what happens in scrims.

Cause everyone's bad with him besides IO players, and he's that type of hero you random, then your team bitches all game cause you'll go 0-10, and then they end up being right, you go 0-10.

IO is op if you have good communication with your teammates. Never pick if you are not a good IO player. He's only played with people who are dedicated to him in higher skill bracket.

Just because you see a shitty winrate on a hero, it doesn't mean it's truly shitty. It's usually to complicated and situational to Play like IO + CK\Tiny\PA\WK\BB\Alch\Morph\Medu\LS and all other right clickers are also good. He is very good at ratting and creating very good ganks.

The hero is only viable in pro tournaments.

I can say to myself i'm a good io player and it really needs understanding teammates and another support

Played against an io/tiny one time. They actually knew what they were doing and it was maddeningly frustrating
