there are quite a bit of ppl after every ti that think that the entire tournament is staged by valve
just like with othe fanatics u cant convince them otherwise
kuroky crying after winning ti is something doesn't happen if it all "according to plan"
the ti7 staff was pretty bad (day9 specifically) and things looked rushed because of that
True.
I am a Newbee fan, and despite my meme'ing (if you add me on FaceBook you will see that I was rooting for Newbee and said they were gonna win their 2nd Ti, and that I was sure of it because I accurately guessed who would win Ti4, Ti5, and Ti6) deep down I knew Liquid would win, so I guess my prediction streak still carries on. It was pretty obvious Liquid would win.
However, despite everything, I still cannot help but feel that this Ti was a little soft and rushed.
BTW, do you know who won the Ti7 Short Film Contest???

True. But Team Liquid has so many fangays that I am shocked to see less hype in comparison to last year. That is one of the main things that throw me off. Wouldn't fans be going bananas?
this guy is clearly to something, and it called schizophrenia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia . This is a naturally occuring disfunction of the brain ,can happen to everyone. Look for example at the Americans who voted for Trump.
Anyway, this conspiracy theories all have so much logical contradictions, and this one in particular two:
1. If the TI7 was staged, it would not look like it is rushed. If smth is staged it should actually be even less noticable, compared to the usual chaos that happens at this type of events
2. Does this conspiracy pay off if it is real? This is important test behind conspiracies like "Nasa is trying to turn everyone gay", ask yourself - what does Valve gain from staging TI7? Not much really, even the prize pool is nothing compared to the amount of money they will lose if the truth about staging will come out. And you should know that in USA, some Valve would go to prison if staging is revealed. Osfrog and Valve do not want to ruin their business by staging some stupid kids' LAN-party

The same guy who won the last 2 years. MaxOfS2D. The clip was called "What does a hero truly fear" or something like that.
I mean the stream stopped around 6pm Pacific Time.
They announced the winners, had their speeches, and boom. Stream over. Bye-bye.
It ended like it always ends, dont write shit.
games wise, this was fantastic TI. Attractive meta, huge hero pool. There was no super dominant team. Obviously liquid trashed other teams, but every their game was super interesting.
Newbee played fantastic whole tournament. they played bad in TI finals? I doubt it, liquid was that good. Nobody ccould stop them.
Inbetween game? Last TI probably was better in that term.. But honestly who even cares? You have 8 hours of dota trough whole fucking day. People are here to watch some dotes, not slacks clown himself or shit like that. I agree that production COULD and SHOULD be better, but in the end, who even cares?!?!?
People will always think this.
How can you say there was no filler? I literally saw a couple of cosplay segments, a spin the wheel with Kaci, the Dendi bot thing, all star game, and a bunch of player pieces.
It maybe felt rushed because there werent many series that went 3 games.
While i got sick of seeing Lycan/NS/Bat in every early game i admire Liquid for playing literally anything and stomping with it. Towards the end, you had to ban wisp, brood, NP, alch and they would just stomp you with a troll instead.
I enjoyed the hell out of ti7 i just wish techies was part of CM
Ti6 was better for me but that's cuz dc and eg we're in it, and the match quality was so high.
Eg vs alliance
Eg vs ehome
Eg vs dc
Tnc vs og
DC vs fnatic
We got to see the coolest mega creeps comeback, ding ding ding mofo, w33 invoker going ham, the eg vs dc close af game, tnc Cinderella story, but this ti mainstage felt lackluster. Ti7 groupstage had some incredible games but other than VP vs liquid game 1 we didn't rlly have any super cool games imho.
Yeah there was all that, but the actual finals day had little to nothing. It was just
Liquid vs LFY 0 - 1, 1 - 1, 2 - 1 gg, liquid win.
Grand Finals time, Liquid vs Newbee, 1 - 0, 2 - 0, 3 -0!!! Dota history! Liquid win! Speech! Bye-bye!
TI6 was better because there was crazy shit like mass dagons comebacks and mega creeps comebacks.
And? I mean, how many TIs you watched?
liquid lfy was actually fantastic bo3.
Liquid were simply too dominant. Like wings were last year against DC. Like EG versus CDEC...
I do agree there was no epic million dollar coils, or 6million dollars echo (even though EG was that game already pretty much ahead and everyone knew they will win TI). But overall, whole tournament, this was the best TI.
There were 2 mega creeps comebacks this ti but in groupstage
This year mainstage was boring af but groupstage had some rlly crazy games.
there was something off about liquid lgd game 2 before finals day. lgd last picked timbersaw with batrider and death prophet already drafted. this was vs huskar. i was so sure lgd would draft spectre because huskar literally hands himself over on a platter to level 4 desolate. is this first ti where spectre was left undrafted?
edit: also there was that phase in g2 where lgd chain fed to huskar camping their jungle entrace, then again at radiant left shrine. soon after they call gg.
There weren't much Magnus, Warlock, Enigma, Tidehunter and Phoenix with those flashy teamfights.
THERE WAS EARTHSHAKER IN ALMOST EVERY FREAKIN GAME!!!

Spectre against a team that might come knocking on your tier 3 towers at 15 minutes - u sure m8?
That lastpick Timbersaw was their only way of 'countering' Brood and Huskar, and the panel unanimously liked that pick.
Sure, when LGD realized they were about to get eliminated from TI, they lost their composure and made some questionable plays. But that's a human reaction - fuelling these mindless conspiracy theories, however, will just make you look stupid.
@coroner
There were 2 this year, not ti6, during group stages
Also of course I wasn't gonna like this year's ti/find it boring cuz my favorite teams weren't in it. That doesn't make me blind it makes me biased but that's how humans are. It wasn't a horrible to, it had a decent storyline, some hype af matches, but I just felt a better connection to last year's ti, what with eg and DC going so far.
So who are your favorite teams? Are they your favorite because of the specific players in it?
Spectre against Huskar is literally the dumbest thing I have heard all week.
OP is very obviously high or mentally ill. How is any of what you're describing an indication of staging. Just because something doesn't conform to your 4k ideas? Rofl.
It's just the meta....the meta is boring veno lich ns lycan....srsly they should buff heroes like enigma magnus invoker before ti to make room for plays and make ti interesting....cuz watching veno taking over a game by putting down spitting worms is not fun at all
still ahfu/kaka es+gh shaker was the sickest shit to watch ever

Is he salty or is his conspiracy convincing?
I personally did feel that this year's Ti felt a little off, and quite rushed.
I have to say, Ti6 was the best Ti. I remember waking up super early, using Twitch on my phone as I drove to my friend's house to watch the Ti6 on his 70inch TV with other pals. It was exciting. There was more filler ans time and mini-events (and Slacks cringe) between games.
And this year. Not so much. Everything felt... rushed. The way Newbee played felt scripted. I mean, honestly, they kept going after Jugg.
Why would pros make a retarded 2k mistake like that when the 24million is on the line?
Then we have Fake9 somehow a caster for this year. Probably to appeal to newbs.
And worst of all, in between games, everything felt rushed.
I mean the stream stopped around 6pm Pacific Time.
They announced the winners, had their speeches, and boom. Stream over. Bye-bye.
Last year I remember the Ti ending at almost midnight!! And everything felt more real and truly hyped.
Here we have Dota history with the first clean Grand Finals victory and despite people having feels for Kuro, it all feels a little fake.
Last year they did way more.
Also, which clip won the Short Film Contest? I probably missed that unless they did not announce it?
tl;dr Is the dude that said that on to something, or is he salty that Liquid won?
