Even if your mmr drops during the season, the medal won't change/drop accordingly 'cause it shows the peak in mmr you reached during the 6 months, not your current mmr. It will change only if you'll be able to climb to at least Ancient 3.

guys after i got calibrated, i got 4480 which is ancient [2]. unfortunately, my mmr went down to 4220. but still i got ancient [2]. is this a bug or something wat? i just curios about this things.
