Bloody broken
Soulbound - Eblade - Dagon = double kill AND refresher works not only that but he can silence both
plus the starts that you can do on him bloodseeker and force staff, batrider etc
Overall very stong though is squish, so clinkz or ss good counter
he's squishy as fuck. He dominated early game, killed my offlaners a lot of times but when I got some farm (as alch), he died so easily
Incredibly strong laner. His skills mostly empower other heroes to better utilize their skillset, and as such, he seems most effect as a 4/5 with strong cores who can capitalize on the opportunities he makes. Running him mid or core offlane means you're in a low enough bracket where you can pubstomp and real strategy doesn't matter. In that case, good for you. If you're in a rank where punishing others' mistakes is critical to success, though, he shines brightest as a support -- especially in this lane-heavy meta.
Didnt have a chance to play him yet. Seems like position 4, but I think with current damage output will be superb mid.
PT, Maelstrom, SB into scythe/eblade+dagon.
annoying
some omega aids dude who goes to offlane with a weaver and they put 2 annoying shits on u and fuk u up
He's a bit tankier than most INT heroes and has good attack range and dmg.
Powershot 2.0
The Swarm 2.0
Shadow Realm 2.0
Volvo doesn't even try to hide the fact they're purposely making this hero OP. I don't blame them though. It's keeping the game alive.
what happens with CK rift the hero ulted by grimstroker? What happens with Legion Ult? We need answers - i have no doto at the hands
Cool hero, love how he’s avilble immediately. Goes to show valve continues to support this game
Powershot, swarm, fatal bond, shadow realm, flame guard hybrid
Not to mention tons of damage and slows/stun/silence
He sounds like an impotent person.
"I can't get an erection with my hand alone, so I use my magic brush."
"My Q takes a long time to windup, it takes too much stamina."
"I speak with a flat voice, anything else would be inappropriate."
he doesnt really that good
his wineate is only 45% and 49% in divine bracket.
seems overrated same as windranger for me
Great hero, very good spell, the silence a little bit imba tho cause it refresh when it successfully dealt damage to the enemy, but the true power is the low cd ult
So far only played one game with it guy was on my team and he fed 19 deaths in a 40min game..
What if Grim ult hits 5 enemy hero + BS ult and teammates bring force staff/Lich ult/Zeus skills combo/Lion has aghanim then ult/Pugna ult/Venge ult?
Day 2 in SEA: there's a drastic drop in Grimstroke auto-pickers lol.
he doesnt really that good
his wineate is only 45% and 49% in divine bracket.seems overrated same as windranger for me
You can't really rely on that much since every single one of us is still trying to learn the hero, including the high tier ones
he is very good but he doesnt auto win games like es or mk on release, he is EXTREMELY strong at early teamfights, but he lacks scaling without big single target items like hex, or teammates to capitalize on his ulti.
my only issue is that his ulti only synergizes with one of his abilities, so he almost requires either farm, to get those huge gamewinning double hexes or whatever, or he requires teammates with synergy spells
basically he cant go everything on his own.
but god damn is his q fucking insane
Sure op, the 1st skill (not even described as dispellable or not, but undispellable also...), 2nd, and Ult(this one pierce spell immune also rip) undispellable.
Currently no other way to break the ulti other than blinking and Force staff (not try this one yet)
Broken in the hands of players who know how the hero works. Still meet many ignorants who literally give hero a try at the first time in ranked and insist to going mid
try on bots with this hero (not ranked games on early try for sure) oh like playing with creeps. this guys is great with enough mana sustain, really
Still below 50% win.
People insta ban him also on normal
Its a new hero you guys have mental problems .
I played two time against him. In both games he seemed kinda ok, I won one, lost the other. I didn't lane against him, only met him after the laning stage. Not enough data to get o any conclusions, but I didn't feel like he was the problem in the game I lost. I lost because I first picked Veno an enemy picked Sniper and PA and they just blew me up.
Guys, don't first pick Veno.
completely broken, 2s slow with 5s cd at lvl 4 is completely ridiculous it's literally just q when enemy goes for lh, w, q again and maybe e if pounding enemy with right clicks wasn't enough + his ult scales well into lategame
I played vs grimstroke before as zeus, and some archon destroys me with it :lul:, cant do shit after that silence
he is not strong as a core but he is 100% op as a support in dual offlane also he can clear stacks way faster than most support heros.
Ok just played against an immortal grim on ranked.
He is really dominant in lane, thats it , ( crazy damage output from first skill, i took 500 damage from him lvl 4 me 3, almost oneshotted lmao) maybe the most dominant hero in dota but not alone he need another hero to do it.
You can kill him easy whit some stuns and late game scale badly.
Just raise first and second cd ; damage of first decrease and its fine.
he is super strong in specific circumstances and really weak in others
he also doesnt scale but is mega strong in the early game
As a support hero:
He's incredibly strong. I don't think he's overpowered, however I do think they need to nerf the damage on his Q slightly.
His Q has extremely strong wave clear/push even at level 1, so you have to be wary of it during laning phase when harassing the opposing offlaner, carry or support if you want to maintain lane equilibrium. I think the movement slow should be nerfed a bit and the damage at level 1, but not too much considering it is a skill shot w/ a wind up, so it's not always a guarantee you'll land it, and you want to reward the player when they do land it. My only concern with his Q is, since it has incredible wave clear and cast range, it may encourage your support to play more greedier than usual and take waves from your carry or mid laner. But ultimately that's on the player him/herself than the hero.
His W can be strong when you use it with your ult, but it is extremely easy for your opponents to kill your phantom and it gives a decent amount of gold as well. Even without his ult, you still have a decent combo potential with his Q and E. With that being said, I still see my teammates idling when they're being phantomed which frustrates me to no end but hopefully with time they'll learn. (xd)
His E is my most favourite spell from him. What I love about it, it gives you the potential to turn fights around. If one of your teammate is being dogpiled, you throw your E on their hero, and if you're lucky enough, you may be able to stun 1-2 heroes or even wipe out your opponents , or your teammate can just escape with the really good movement speed bonus. You can also use it offensively by throwing it on yourself, a controlled creep, or your teammate to catch your opponent off guard and set up with a w, q combo. Lastly, if you do manage to get the level 25 talent (+200 ink radius) it can open up your catch potential by a lot while sieging, sieged or just going for a smoke play.
I don't have much thought about his ult. It's just flat out strong when you have heroes like Lina, Lion, Ogre or any hero with a single targeted stun/nuke on your team and most likely you will, so it will never be 100% useless, but at times it can feel like that if you think your team is lacking some damage/quick burst. His ultimate becomes really good at Level 3 with the 45% movement slow, 50 second cooldown and don't forget it pierces through spell immunity. At this point of the game, I would think of it like a Shadow Demon ult and use it quite sparingly if someone is in a poor position rather than waiting for the perfect moment to link 2 people together.
his ulti is super strong but i feel like it lacks synergy with his own hero, double phantom is cool and all, but not that strong, so it feels like to take full use of this skill u need teammates with strong abilities to combo with it.
since he seems to be a support too, its hard to get the items that abuse his ulti too, like hex and whatnot
Phantom is weak? Halberd on ranged heroes anyone? wanna run? Q! E! You're dead meat Sancho!
phantom is ok, but most of the time people either die before the duration ends so u get full cd, or they kill it in 2 hits and it does so little
But don't get me wrong, I strongly agree about teammates being his best skill advantages. Double Doom? Double Scythe? Double Rupture? Sure shit man!
new heroes are always imba. otherwise they'd have a 20% winrate for the first couple of weeks.

I think every new hero valve releases is imba lol
