you know what it means to have 50.6% winrate , 5k ranked games and 4k mmr? it means you are just as skilled as a crusader (or even below) but you played the game more than them. thats enough for me to realize why ppl flame you in games :) but it wont help you anyway, if it could you were not a dog in first place.

I would flame you too when you die that much. You have an average of 6 deaths per game in your last 20 games as a pos 1 and 2.

Anyway OP i agree,dota 2 is by far the most toxic game i've ever played.
I've been playing since 2017 and i probably have around 6k-7k games,and 80% of the games i played were toxic and miserable,maybe even higher.
I haven't played in 3 days and've been playing cs go casually,i feel like a recovering ptsd victim.
Not touching dota 2 in near future
I see no reason to play dota 2 and be competetive if you don't plan on going pro,i would rather use that energy irl on things that matter,so would play chill games in the future if i need that gamer fix.

I deleted dota and steam because of dota 2 black screen bug during pick phase where I can't select a hero and 8/10 games I need to restart my dota and 8/10 I get flamed and random a hero. Very promising. The most bugged game eveeer

Same. Some people told it might be my HDD problem, but it ain't. I checked my RAM if it has problems and it doesn't, I chckd my HDMI cable on my 8y.o. laptop to my monitor+tv if it has a problem it doesn't. In my old laptop the game works and loads great, but on my PC which is a lot better than my laptop it doesn't work. In game its fine, but during pick phase I get stuck in the screen 8/10 games and i get random hero and getting flamed and I need to restart the game and on my laptop I don't have that problem (all tho I tested in in 1 game only, but that's enough to say if it has problems). The only downside was that my fps was around 60-80 lower than my PC but its all good. 40-70fps on my laptop)

Every online game is the same, there is no exceptions. Dota only looks worse because people have a lot of free time to flame while they are dead.

True. A friend of mine plays World of Tanks and u write less there and he was expecting his team mates to do something in game, but they didn't and he rage quit or get angry at them. And after that i told him if this was dota the flame would start now.

I'm truly sorry if a bad game of Dota is going to make your day awful, it's a game and meant to be fun. If you're not having fun, branch out to have fun in the game in different ways, or branch out of the game to find new fun.

I wouldnt give that award to Dota. There are worse games out there... then again I dont experience that much toxicity in games. Maybe because i rarely play carry, maybe because of regionor maybe due to behavior score. In generel games are good.

I know it's been said on this post, but I feel muting toxic players is really underutilized, especially if you're not in the best mood and susceptible to reacting poorly to negative comments.

Also, a big pet peeve of mine is people trying to argue back and defend themselves against toxic players. This mostly just fuels them and gives a better likelihood that they'll keep flaming. My theory is that the biggest chance to get someone to stop flaming, is don't give them even the slightest reaction. Ignore them 100% and then mute them if you must. They won't always stop flaming, but I believe this gives the highest chance that they will.

Echoing 'KiiNG - HU$LEANDO's comment, it's important to be mentally resilient, and if you find yourself playing on day that you know you're easily tilted, have that mute button at the ready!

Try team up with 4 mates if you still got blamed then you know what happened
