Yes, reports himself and potential formulas has greater value and impact (especially in row).
Few times I had 30+ commends with 3-6 reports witch prevent rise BS alot.

yup its funny, i was the most toxic piece of shit possible, i had 8.6k ish score, i got like +9 com abuse reports and i only got 1 day chat ban. no lp and my behavior score remained 8k+, my summary never was red like this 
the thing is, if u drop below 8k behavior, u constantly meet people who report your gameplay for any reason, its 15 games and u get avg 3 reports if not higher, and your behavior goes down. and you slowly turning to an animal cause u are playing with animals.

Hes right tho if ur below 5k score you barely gain any for not getting reported and getting commended while in high behavior score its the opposite. I think its deserved though.
Behavior score is 100% broken below 8k. Ive been sliding ever since I had an unfortunate abandon spree due to poor internet connection and lost 2k score in 2 weeks. Since then its a constant slide. When I was 10k behavior score I was the most toxic player in dota and never went below 9500 no matter how many reports I received, only the occasional communication ban. Now I play 100% PMA but it doesnt matter, it seems to only take 2 reports over 15 games to drop in behavior score and at this behavior score people use EVERY SINGLE REPORT. Literally a person will have bad game and just report the entire team out of spite.
My behavior score update is ALL GREEN week after week and I lose about 200-300 regardless because of those 2 reports per 15 games. I'm in the 6000s now and que times are getting ridiculous. If I go below 5000 I think I will just have to only play from Thursday-Sunday at least then all the idiots who report out of spite will have used theirs up already.

well i envy u bcz i want to get lower conduct than that. let me tell u a story about conduct. when u get a 10k beh score, u will get a teammate with AN ACCOUNT that is probably 7k-10k. which is normal beh score. the problem when u got 10k is when people selling their account with a 10k beh score to a person that is only crusader skill level with a beh score below 4k in their account. BUT when u get below 3-4k conduct, usually ur teammates and enemies are all toxic. so in a matter of balance it is worth to have an account that has lower conduct than the higher one
oh and btw dont play if you have toxicity of that level i guess. if you keep blaming ur teammates instead of focusing the blame on urself that means u already peaked dude.

As much as a hate the BS system and think its a bit rigged to keep you at low BS I will say I think it serves its purpose. Over the weekend about 90% of my matches people were saying shit like "gg end" before the first runes even spawn. These people don't have the attitude and mental maturity to play DOTA, they let their emotions carry from one game to the next all day long. Some people end up in low BS that don't deserve it and that's unfortunate but if you truly don't deserve to be there you will climb out, i've done it once before and am in the process of doing it again.

back in my day 2016, you had a limited number of commends, when commends actually meant something, and i would get 15 reports or more with no repracutions.
now you get 5 reports just because you're playing core and they want something to blame and bam, 1week ban and 4 lp games.

Kowa god, I doubt it's about the hero. I spammed techies p5 in ranked("Techies p5 reported" at start of 90% of the games) for like few months(around 400 games) and never dropped below 10k bhs...The animals in my bracket are like goldfish, they don't even remember who they want to report by the end of the game, if you don't give them constant reminder by chatting.
As long as you play good, and don't engage in chat wars, you will avoid reports or get commended even with scores like 1-9-4, 2-20-15.
Focus on your own game.
Regardless of teammate, try to win.
If the game is truly hopeless, find some fun activity in game. (Trying to reach enemy base without dying, fake casting spells with a random enemy etc.)
Don't engage in rap battles.
Let me make it into simple maths.
Play good + no chat wars = Easy bhs gain.
(If you want to give advice, word it better. ex. "Hey, I think xxx item might be good right now", if they listen good ; if they don't, then leave it)
Play bad + no chat wars = rare bhs loss.
(might get 1 report here and there but that's it)
Play good + chat wars = Good chance for bhs loss
(even if you solo carry the team)
Play bad + chat wars = 100% bhs loss.

Ohh, I think you missed my second comment then. Over multiple abandons(shit net fucking me over and over). My bhs went all the way down to 5.6k and it literally took me less than a month to go back up to 10k.
I will admit though, that at this point I wasn't playing techies much(once every 6-7 games). But ya, it's a piece of cake to climb bhs if you aren't a complete animal. Stay quiet for 40 games, commend everyone after wins, don't engage in rap battles or keyboard wars, praise the animals for good plays. Follow this and doesn't matter what hero you play, climbing bhs is a piece of cake.

What is unfair about low behavior score getting punished more then high behavior scores? You said yourself its hard to drop once you are high behavior score, so how the hell did u drop so low. If it was so easy to climb behavior score then everyone would act like a total degenerate and climb to 9k-10k in a week, it would make the system even wose, its supposed to be hard to climb especially the more toxic the player gets.

I'm always 10k 99% all the time. Sometimes it drops to 9500+ if some unfortunate blackouts/DC happens. But itll regain to 10k in no time.

i had 2700 score, after 10 games i got 2900, with 24 commended and less than 3 reports, then 3000 with 20 commends and <3 reports, and it stayed 3k with 23 commends and >3 reports
