i prefer smaller map because sometimes i misclick on the minimap and blink towards the enemy instead of away
Yes, when my team was retreating I clicked accidentally on the mini map then I went forward to enemy instead of retreating
idk how necessary this is tbh; I just feel like I'm more likely to accidentally map click when retreating
Interesting gimmick, but I do not see the use of this in game. It literally obstructs vision (hence why they reduced the UI in 7.00) and I could imagine myself right clicking on the map and screwing up my pathing constantly. As someone else said, just use the larger hero icons if you have a small monitor and struggle to read the map.
Okay, but why the fuck they use 0-2 scale instead of 0-1 like a normal people would do wtf is that coding normal?
I might be able to use this, I've literally lost games because I clicked on map to tp away to tier 2 and got a 7 second tp on outpost, getting me killed and letting the other team storm down mid

There is a console command dota_hud_extra_large_minimap which have its representation in settings called "use extra large minimap". It can be on and off, and it must mean that dota_hud_extra_large_minimap can be 0 and 1? Yes, but it can also be 2 for some reason and that makes the minimap take a whole 2/5 of the screen height. This actually can be usefull. By the way the command can't be a value of 3 or greater either something float beetwen 0 and 2.
This is the value of 1. The default is 0 and the minimap is even smaller
And this is the value of 2
Do you find it convenient?
