Do you need a blink and a force staff? Do you use the Ghost scepter when you use your call? I just normally use call and blade mail.

Don't call and blademail....what does call do? (reduces damage with armor buff) what does blademail do (returns damage received)...if this damage returned is reduced by call, what is the point.

Blink - Call - Forcestaff = pulls team out of position towards your team.
Blink - Call - Ghost = 4 second disable where they're unable to attack you but are unable to move away, attack, or cast.

Blink forcestaff is so god damn good together as far as positioning and pick offs go....bat, Cent, Axe, Magnus are all proof of this. Sometimes positioning on Axe is more important then "RAWR MAN FIGHTING".

Ah Thanks, for some reason I though blade mail reflected damage.

It returns damage as it's received but if the damage you receive is reduced so it the damage returned.

blademail's still useful for not just call, what if their support tries to stun you? a pudge hook comes ur way and he's already low on hp? etc.

usually people get aghs, shivas, or bloodstone after blink but blademail isn't bad.

Not being a dick at all here but you're wrong.

Blademail is used more as a deterrent to damage but there are much better items that you could buy, but for 2.2k if you have a couple core items it isn't a bad pickup on him.

still, like i said, if u get blademail and a say an orchid storm jumps on you, you have the potential to do shit tons of dmg back, otherwise ur a sitting duck. you're also going to catch all the aoe spells (tide ulti, sand king epicenter, etc.) if you're playing against even remotely competent players, which is also going to be a lot of return dmg.

anyway that's just my experience. the few times i played him i noticed these things happen a lot so i concluded blademail is a decent item.

Yeah defo a good pick up with nukers and heavy stunners which IMO was the worse time to play axe, like this train wreck of a game http://dotabuff.com/matches/622944493 it forces you to blademail and pipe if they are just blowing like that.

It's one of the reason forcestaff is equally as core as the blink......in short blademail is useful and a good pick up on axe but not like a core item where you buy it every axe game just because.

Had a good time cause all the team was screaming "Oooooooh" everytime I casted sunstrike, followed by them clapping their hands if the sunstrike was correct. Or 4 ping (1 each) if it was incorrect.
