scrub took you 4 games? I tried that once, it took one. Second was in very high, then I stopped because there isn't any point in smurfing (especially for bads like me)

Well maybe if i didn't lose my first game, tbh that was the only game where I was genuinely playing with/against noobs (hindsight shouldn't have picked a support). I just think it's hilarious you can get matched with players that have 2.5k wins after 12 games..
My main is 4.5k, but I mean if I get a higher mmr on this one, then I'll just use it instead

im asking about "Very High Skill" tag on games of ranked though, not normal

very high in ranked starts at 3700-3800 or thereabouts.

the game determines the match to be 'very high' if every player is above a certain threshold I believe. sometimes you won't get VH matches because maybe a 3.5k player queued with a 4.2k player or something.

I think that's how it works.

avg rating of all 10 players must exceed 3.8 regardless of your own rating. The game is very high skill bracket. It's not your bracket but the games. Can have people below 3.8 but the avg must be 3.8 or higher.

i think so too 3.3k until 3.7 or so are high skill while 4k is at very high skill i believe in very high skill there are so many pub stompers T_T

No, very high is like 3.8 or so. I am 3450 party mmr and my brother on Snake is just over 4k. When we group together we end up in very high skill. Rest of the players on our team are not grouped and all around 3.7-3.8. Take a look.

It's kind of funny cus my solo rating is a lot worse at ~3200 and I keep dropping between normal and high skill solo matches lol. It's a pretty small spread between the top of normal, high and the bottom of very high on dotabuff imo. I mean there is a gigantic difference between 4500 and 3800 yet both get called very high, while difference between 3k and ~3300 isn't that much in terms of skill and you jump a whole bracket. The brackets are kind of worthless.
