I know, but if I am hitting or doing a combo, its really anoying to click on yourself and back your mouse cursor to the fight again xD
i had the same problem as you. alacrity you just place your mouse over your hero (not portrait) and press button. Cataclysm you hover your mouse over portrait and press button. No other way. The alt thing is ridiculous, unless you are used to direct pathing (landing razes for example).
Actually once you get used to alt+button for self cast it's really easy. I play a lot of injoker too and it did take me quite a while to get used to it but once you do you can't go back. I say just play more and it will become natural
do you struggle on double tap self-cast?for me its the easiest way,one-button only,no need for the cursor
double tap self-cast only works for normal cast doesn't it? that's not going to work if op wants quickcast for other spells.
you can select some abilities to be normal cast from unit specific controls in settings hotkeys
Also items can make some items normal cast I always have one slot for items like force staff that I frequently self cast

I started using quick cast, but I have a problem to self cast abilities like alacrity with invoker, I also tried alt+F/D to self cast but it's really unconfortable to do it for me. So is there any solution to this?
