maybe EU players have low confidence and are afraid of laning 1v2. or getting flamed when they have to 3rd pick offlane and then have to play UL against cm+slark.

Everyone who has the patience to wait for a game should pick mid/carry. They are undoubtedly the roles most likely to be picked by a toxic player so you reduce the chance of a toxic team mate by almost 50% if you lock in one of those roles.
it is true, that offlane is a bit painful today since most of the time you are solo versus 2.5 players and cant use courier or shared ward

Anyways they should separate the supp role into 2 different roles(roamer and hard supp) for a more quality match

This is very true, people get confused and often pick 2 pos 5 forcing 2-1-2 formation when its completely unnecessary creating awkward laning setups...
We are back to 2007 boys! 2-1-2 and pudge mid! Jokes aside thats so boring... But seems Icefrog has a grudge against roamers.
Well roaming is still alive but he either starts in the offlane or safe lane depends on the matchups afterwards he can roam to other lanes to apply even more pressure
