the gold spent on vlads would be much better if u used it for buying bkb or ac, unless u are stomping so hard and just need a bit of extra damage to siege towers but then again i would rather get deso rather than vlads in these type of situations
Lycan spammer here. VLADS is just situational item. if you have heroes like Venge or Drow or BeastMaster, then going VLADS is good item to synergized aura. Lycan normally rosh to HotD and Necro.
It's all about timing on lycan, and you'll miss your timing window if you get both vlad and dominator
Feral impulse stopping giving AS and agility nerfs contributed to attack speed becoming way more important than dmg both for Lycan and his summons.

I never see high level players/guides build vlads on lycan and I was just wondering if there's something I'm missing? Lifesteal, armor, health regen and damage for all of his wolves/necro units/HoD creeps seems like a good thing to have and it also lets you pretty easily solo rosh so why does nobody get it?
