Not really sad about it, just surprised and amused. It makes it easier to get BP levels playing against worse players. I was actually planning to lose few games to get lower to make it easier to go through the cavern (all done).

lets see, you probably lost a ton of mmr after getting ancient as well, then lost 7 calibration games (which isnt that bad).
I dropped from Ancient 3 to Archon 5. Now tryharding my way back . MONKAS.
PS: Had a powercut for 1 game & lost 3 other games.
i quit dota for a year, calibrated ancient. recalibrated at legend 5 and now almost ancient 2. how do you lose so much lol.
The problem with calibration is that it was not a calibration. You were just 3 k flat before calibration with old badge that you dropped from. People cry over recalibration but actually we are mostly where we belong.
I went from Legend 0 to Crusader 4, then up to Archon 2. However, when I view player's profiles (enemy and ally) I can see their previous ranks are mostly Legend 1 to Legend 5, and sometimes Archon 3+ so I am betting that this is where I'm suppose to be at.
I went 4-6 and I only lost like 130 mmr, I don't think there's any chance for u to end up at archon!

Pretty insane :D Note that I ended up with 3:7 and played those 10 calibration games within a month.
Not that I am arguying or something, I dont really care and I played several heroes I never play nowadays (daily quests or just for fun- Lich, Timber, Lina, Bristle, Techies etc), so I lost in the end around 500 MMR :D But was interested to see I dropped 8 levels in medals. :))
