How to be successful as a solo-mid player?

    announce tierney

last hits, denies, rune control, ganking lanes

      Vaikiss`742.

        bitch pls

creep blocking , positioning , lasthitting , map awarness , rune control (in decent level games team does that for u (atleast 1 side) , ganking , decision making

once u master all of those u should be good to go as a mid player

Someone on Reddit posted a good guide to this, with demo videos from Arteezy. Try search for that.

Learn from Sampson, he has mastered everything. Navi learned from him.

That's why Navi learned from you. Do you have inverse logic despite having such godly skill ?

yeah, chaqs guide is decent even for some players who played mid quite a lot but never got into competetive. You should also watch wc3 dendi mid guide video on youtube, I think its about an hour or two long so you would get a lot of information, though it's outdated but still the principles remain the same.

Aggro part is great, changed my playstyle a lot. Rest is basics, but may be useful for somebody with less than year of experience.

Mid is probably the hardest role to explain in couple of words. You must have good mechanical skills to not be outlaned, good game understanding and ability to adapt your playstyle to different heroes and different turns of events. Basically - you just have to be good player. This comes with experience.
