He spams acid. Acid takes so much hp from me. I prison him, he is constantly using soulring to replenish mana. I was so zoned out that i need to lh under my own tower & it was quite difficult. Using prison on him after nerf was also pretty difficult.
The nerf doesn't affect the matchup. OD is just horribly overrated.
It was never possible to win that matchup with OD unless the Alchemist doesn't use his Acid Spray.
However, just do it like this:
Ignore the Alchemist completely, try to farm under your tower to get your items.
It's basically what OD does anyway. OD doesn't usually win mid by kills except the enemy is a retard. Either he wins by last hits, or he only gets most of the last hits, which should still be sufficient to own mid game.
Just don't overrate OD and you'll be fine.
And don't auto attack Alch, he will heal all of it anyway.
At level 6 you can try to use Astral combo to kill him. But I wouldn't count on it (Astral combo only works when the enemy mid is an idiot, i.e. still goes back to lane while he has 3 Astral stacks already).

Lowering by 50 from 550 to 500. I played OD for 3000 games, and I haven't even noticed it.

If you won't go for rune,go for bottlecrow maybe.And at start u could start with 3 branches which goes to wand later because he spams a lot of acids.You would get faster bottle with 3 branch + one tango i guess.If you need extra regen,you could take it while you are bottlecrowing.

Is there anyone who won mid against Alch as OD ? Won without ganks. 1v1 match up vs Alch with soulring. Is it possible ? I've created second topic, coz i didn't get replies that would satisfy me.
