@Timber: FMA is decent, FMA:B is awesome. Anyways, particularly surprised by the Trinity Seven anime, gotta like a Harem MC that actually is going for the harem ending tbh. F/SN is the thing this season though, but there are a good amunt of other fall anime that are really worth watching.
Yeah I am watching brotherhood right now, about half done. I have never watch any anime, just caught a few on adult swim from time to time and FMA caught my attention from being on there. I guess I have zero frame of reference but I wondered if it is typical anime or more casual/anime light. It doesn't seem as weird/out there as some.
well, I started to watch animation again and it seems 'Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis' is good. Only animations I enjoyed watching was Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away, Cowboy Bebop, Darker than Black (only first part) and few others which I forgot to mention. I stopped watching animation after Darker than Black because I was disappointed by the lack of storyline/action scenes in new animations. How they look and how story progress seems way too unnatural. I guess animation focus kids for their audience mostly so I'm starting to find most animation way too childish/girlish as I grow up. Finding good animation seems extremely rare and time consuming so I doubt I'm going to start watch again except for the one I just started to watch. I mean a lot of animation/anime series appear to be decent at first but is actually a load of crap once you finish watching... I watched 'Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis' first three episodes and I think I'm going to enjoy this anime like I did with darker than black. Actually when I watched first 5-10minutes of episode 1, I thought this was going to be a shit and a waste of time but it actually went good. I heard legend of korra, denno coil, Gankutsuou is decent so maybe I'm just going to watch those three. Man, I regret wasting so much time watching anime/animation when I was young. Literally 99% of them were huge waste of time and shit and I would strongly discourage anyone to watch anime. I mean you'd have to wait 3 years to see if any half decent anime was released or not over the years

FMA:BH is a decent gateway series. It has a simple plot, no rampant fanservice and it's not too serious.
