P.S. You have to play support Meepo and rely on your teammates (Doom, Clinkz or any silence/hex/stuns).
lol don't play support meepo. ask teammates to get doom or silencer. alternatively get a hex.
once he snowballs he can be a huge pain to deal with but not impossible.
I had like aghs hot and would still get 2 shotted by ember. but in teamfights with proper timing you can prevail.
a daunting task but not impossible.
Wait until somebody picks Ember (on your team) proceed with picking Meepo.

make sure you gank him when his flame guard is about to end, you will have 15 sec to kill him :P
idk if it's worth getting a butterfly, cos it wouldn't have helped you survive if ember did manage to get one cleave attack off (out of 5 chances). only the main meepo gets the evasion i believe, and even if evasion did work on all the meepos, you're basing your survivability down to chance, when HP is more reliable (heart for example). the only way you'd make yourself more survivable against cleave is to get more HP, heart being the highest str item in the game.
still, the matchup is pretty difficult since meepo's strength is in numbers, which ember is good against due to cleave. if the ember doesn't have any pre-placed fire remnants, blink-hexing him can easily kill him, since geostrike will make it so that his remnants also move slowly if he does survive the initial blink + hex initiation.
if he does have pre placed remnants, you're only going to kill him if you chain disable him. in this specific game that you're refererncing, you were a 5 stack, and you definitely had the means to chain disable the ember since you had the co-ordination. lion and ES both have instant initiations with blink, invoker should have gotten an orchid and/or hex for the ember instead of bloodstone + sange, and should've gone Q-W so that the ember can't do squat in the laning phase. the ember would have to have to remnant to base more often, reducing his map presence.
tbh invoker's build was pretty crap. goes for a QE builld but doesn't have double forge spirits until level 13 when you can get them at 9 or 10, focuses on exort but doesn't max it until 15 when it shouldn be maxed at 13 if you are focusing on one element, no quas until level 4
1.wait.If enemy has Ember,Lich,Earthshaker or Kunka better think twice
2.at least make sure that Ember is never in the same lane as you are
3.outlevel him.If you are lvl 20 and he's lvl 11,his damage is patetic.Wait untill he throws all he has,use meka and kill him.
Generally,if you pick Meepo straight away,you will be countered and end with 3-15-6 score.Don't.

cause ember will 1 FIST you, and even if you have 4-5 meepos with 6 slotted items, (it's fucking hilarious to do)
you'll die in 1 hit
you're honestly almost better off going shadow blade, orchids, sheeps if the ember is pretty good
i.e. if you get blink, some parts of the map could be warded - so even though you want to initiate first, he can just remnant back to safety as soon as he sees you within a dangerous radius, or right after you blink/net.
whereas a shadow blade can help you poof all the rest of your meepos while using your main one to disable him.
you just really want to avoid taking hits from W with all your meepos around
he's squishy as fuck and is generally the main target
I saw wagamama almost losing against a meepo with ember, the meepo was a really good player and waited every fight for ember, then he blinked and hexed, everytime ember gets hexed he dies, but in the end i think waga got bkb and meepo was food after that :/
I guess if you are going to play meepo against ember you just need to be better than the ember, get a hex and pray for the guy to be stupid to not get bkb.

I went bfly to try to kill ember faster. It failed. I agree as a team we coulda been more coordinated but it didn't quite work out heh.
Thanks for the advice. It seems that only way is to blink initiate with sheep. Guess I gotta work on that lol.
Let your team know you're going to pick Meepo, but pick Ember Spirit, wait till everyone picks, repick Meepo.
You're probably better off getting E-blade to be frank. It gives more agility, and Meepo clones don't benefit from the AS, the damage or evasion of Butterfly, so overall you'd actually get more damage from E-blade than Butterfly, not to mention some extra strength for all your Meepos.
Didn't think about eblade. And wtf, I've picked meepo and then some freak inevitably picks ember >.>
Once Ember gets double BF's and Crit... meepo's just fall.
End game before that happens, best meepo games are all done before 30 minutes.
Just send all the meepos to different parts of the map and one man splitpush instead of one big lump that he can fuck with

Omg I've been practicing my meepo and I always end up against embers and they just rape me. Is there any tricks for dealing with them besides just micro?
