    Phase boots vs power treads

    von

pls sampson. phase for chase and damage. Plus, it helps last hit in lane. Power treads for atk speed, stat switching for more heals, and more tankiness.

Really depends. if they have a lot of slow, take phase. more damage/stuns, take treads imo.

treads, afaik you need stats on him as he has a good stats grow

        Miku Plays

          how about arcane vs tranqs?

I prefer phase for the speed plus damage. Been ages since I last played him though. If anybody says you are supposed to support in your game, ragequit without hesitation.

if anyone asks me to support on any hero I ragequit

I would say treads in a vacuum, with a push stick as your mobility.

This is saying a lot, I think phase boots are superior to treads on almost every hero.

I don't like mobility items on Necro, you sacrifice tankyness. Make items to cripple your opponents/ask teammates to cripple opponents.

so make him an intelligent tanky sitting duck is what you're saying (not that i disagree)

just make it a pain to kill yourself... does ghost + bkb work at the same time while maintaining both physical + magical immunity?

im pretty certain it did in dota 1

                    waku waku

                      he's too slow with treads

                      Trodlabundin

                        ^No he's not.

Viper too slow with treads aswell? (yh he got slows, but doesthatevenmeananything)

I feel like mana boots better.

                          waku waku

yeah viper is slow so i get phase boots or enemies run out of my attack range before i can attack them
and if you don't kill everyone either your team feeds while you farm because you were not with them or the enemy team gets farmed because you weren't killing them and destroys you

Well, picking Viper or Necro usually involves having teammates with multiple disables to compensate for you not having a hard disable of your own (except for Necro's ult...but then again, it's and ult and single targeted).

                                Arcanes then force staff.
Build arcanes into a possible blooestone later.
Spam that q and force staff helps everyone move, not just yourself.

well to spam q, you don't need bloodstone..
                                  that's kind of overkill..

Phase! Mek + Ghost or Force should be enough to keep you alive during fights. Treads is situationally good if you have an easy time csing in lane, especially if you're going drum or euls anyway.

                                    Yoshi

honestly id go for stats boots early game, then switch to phase later on, gives you more mana and survivability early game and help you lend your ulty later on once you are a bit more tanky.

Viper might be slow but his 4 level poison slows movement by 40%... so why does he need phase to chase people? Just build yasha after pt's/mek, turn into a manta later.
