Well this is my list.
Alex- I dont think so, am can farm fast too but sven with inbuild cleave and mom farm pretty faster and am must first buy bf what sven already have in better version. And am blink work same as mom for movement bonus speed overall.
whb.CKK- SF farm also fast, but definately not fastest in game and Gyro dont fast farm becouse his only farming ability (flak cannon) have big CD.
1. Wrong. If you're safe laning prophet then sure, but jungle prophet tends to be slower than a safe lane or mid lane farmer.
2. Decently accurate as with goblins greed you're able to accelerate farm much faster than most, but this is assuming you have no one to contest your farm.
3. Agree slightly as even when shut down doom is able to get gold (not last hits) at an acceptable pace due to the devour giving extra gold which increases per level.
4. Sven is a good farmer but no where near the fastest, if you're cleaving a wave you will push it quicker up the lane meaning you will be hitting very close to the enemy tower.
5. Medusa with split shot unless you're farming ancients isn't going to do anything bar pushing the wave all the way back to their tower.
These are assumptions based on difference in skill, hero level, and period in the game. With NP you can go from like 40 last hits in 10 minutes to about 300+ in a 40 minute game, tinker can also do this due to split pushing and jungling/ancient farming. Some of these are based of last hitting ability and being almost completely uncontested in lane sven is a rough laner and you will need decent support to help secure your farm if you're up against a troublesome offlane.
EDIT: Luna is amazing at farming, shadow fiend is rapid as well, Axe too is probably the fastest flash farmer if you were inclined to do so but that is all early game....depends on the hero, the support you get, and the situation.
Sven at 15 minutes will farm just as fast as an AM at 15 a Medusa level 3 will farm slower than an Invoker (exort) level 3 etc. Some of these may be bad comparisons but you get the picture, there is no fastest farmer really as some will accelerate faster based on how they did in the laning/farming stage and how much they were contested.
Havoc Badger <3 Hald Traas- Just buy soul ring so you can spam trees in jungle than you will see how prophet farm fast even in jungle. And i dont mean how they farm fast in laning phase, i mean how fast they farm overal overall in game, what mean from start early game to late game end. And when game reach 25 minute rank than medusa start farm insanely fast.
Again that requires farm in the first place and is 800 gold and is just an item to give you more farm which you will probably sell about 15 minutes into the game in favor of other items.
By the end of the game how fast a hero can farm doesn't really matter as it boils down to players etc....

It depends what you do and how you play and some heroes get more farm later than earlier.
Havoc Badger <3 Hald Traas- Just buy regen ring and recipe imedeately from 625 gold and you need only 175 gold more to buy soul ring so its not expensive and its much better than stupid ring of basilus on furion.
Imo, it's 1 - Alchemist (cuz of greevils greed ofc, but farm isn't guaranteed)
2 - Naga
3- AM
4- natures profit
5 - doom (aside from devour he has nothing to help him farm)

Sunrise- Problem with TB is that he is mostly ranged hero and ranged hero cant buy battlefury what very much speed up their farming, that why is Sven one of the fastest heroes in game due CLEAVE.
Wraith king is better than spectre at farming radiance, you can get midas, boots, and radiance in under 20 minutes....he is a much better farmer cause he is durable and has lifesteal so he can duck into the jungle to pick up jungle farm a lot faster than others.

Also dat comment on TB? TB is one of the fastest farmer in game bar non....you can be laning and have illusions clearing jungle and other lanes. Lets take matrice or zenoth who play TB regularly, they will confirm how slow TB is at farmin......right?

Havoc Badger <3 Hald Traasi- I compare hereos overall in all game stages, best farming item for almost every melee carry is BATTLEFURY, coz if you want fast farming Wraith King than just build battlefury as cleave realy very speed up farming speed for every melee carry, that is why i build for almost every melee carry battlefury to massive speed my farm speed.

Doom is only a good farmer when nothing happen, but if the game is closed, than he cann't farm as fast as people who can wood + 2 lane with no problem, cause his clearing potential is close to 0.

Assuming uncontested farming conditions and about 20-30 mins (so you have at least 1 farming item) in I reckon it would be something like:
1) Alch
2) Meepo
3) AM
4) Luna
5) Gyro
People seriously underestimate Meepo's ability to farm. Pretty much the only hero, who if left uncontested could clear all 6 creep waves and both jungles every minute in the mid game.
edit: Unless there are mud golems, fuck those guys.
And btw. you can also buy dagger on sven and then sven will have blink mom and cleave and this sven will farm much baster than am with just blink and cleave.

Doom is fast farmer indeed.
Luna Gyro and Tinker should be among this list because of their farming skills and their potential to clear stacks.
