Almost all the Zeus players I have come across in game have been TBD smurfs, guess noobs figured out Hero damage is a strong gauge on final MMR rating.
I came to the conclusion that climbing mmr till september is just a fools errand. Aroud 4k at least 15% accounts are smurfs. I bet 10 rares that noone will get to 5k before at least Sep.4
Personally the shitty quality of games has led me to take a break from doto till Septmber aswell.

I'm not even trying to be a prick here, I accept I'm not fantastic, I'm not a pro level and I'm not 5.5k+ material, but I'm way above the shit I'm put with. There have been games where I could have done better but there is not a single game in my past maybe 50 solo games where I am to blame for the loss.

Somebody explain me why is 4k trench? It makes no sense. 2k is bad, 3k is average, so logicly 4k would be good. So why is it like that, tbh not even 2k is this toxic and bad.
@Raspharus, 4k is not as "trenchy" as people call it. There are players who will play bad at any mmr. Someone randomed a hero he can't play, so he plays bad, someone is forced to support when he can only play mid, someone is forced to play mid when his only hero above 50% winrate is crystal maiden. So shit will happen, and unless you are some kind of exceptionally talented player, or you are 1k above everyone, you are going to struggle raising mmr. But eventually you will do it as long as you are actually trying to get better, and look at your own mistakes.

This leads to a culture of hissy fits, abandoning, and general bad sportsmanship. People say the key to winning these games is to play selfish as several others have done. Picking carry, mid etc., and generally ignoring the team till you got the stuff to win. This is actually what I have experienced to be the problem in most games. Generally when you and members of your team do the up-most to get the team snowballing in the right direction and the "greedy" one needs to farm and will ignore the needs of the team and not help which will lead to the other 4 dying and some point which in turn will mean the greedy one will have to farm more in his mind and on and on etc etc.
For instance my climb has been iffy as well to some extent but a little bit better cause I make a conscious effort to roam, support, encourage team mates, and explain what is going on when people are getting frustrated. Not all games are rosy, and some even I lose my shit, but this is not due solely to shit team mates, this is also just the toxic nature of the bracket.
TL;DR People in this bracket (4.5-4.8) are on edge due to being so close to 5K and being overly skeptical of their team mates from the start. Make 1 mistake and you might just have your team abandon or throw.
