EU crashed hard today, couldn't reconnect for like 6 times in a row, game stated "Game is safe to leave. No stats will be recorded" and yet I got a lost. So just leave with it dude ;)
Also the DB dudes are parsing the APi responses, so if the api states the game COUNTS it counts.
Sucks but they can't really manually go through all games and find out which ones shouldn't be counted etc.
Haha just got a game where all 9 players disconnected, I drew first blood and the guy dc'ed, I was sure he just rage quit cuz he dc'ed right away then followed by 2 more and bout 1 minute of pause time all 9 players dc'ed. Ez game of my life :)
well i was trying to get just one more win for leaderboards and cant play it tonight coz servers go ape shit.
sell hats and keychains god forbid you actually spend some money of those 50 billions you got at ti for servers volvo. god forbid.
dotabuff still records it. i'm not real sure how everything works, but i think the dotabuff system cant recognize if games were no stats recorded or not.
at the end of the day, it shouldn't really matter, are you really going to care about 1 out of every 100 of games or so.
either accept this problem will happen or don't play the game for a while. i did the latter
happend to me aswell, got abandoned with a mate of mine. he got -25 due to abandoning, I got +25 as nothing would've happend, positive count on dotabuff (my last game, void).

as u can see, nearly every1 got a disconnet, i got kicked shortly after
if admins could atleast manually remove losses, but seems they are not able to do that
