    I was wondering, is there any site where you can see MMR percentiles?
    Like how many people are 5k for example etc?

        There is a normal distribution (frequency vs MMR, and you can see percentile) @ http://dota2toplist.com/statistics.
        Keep in mind that the mean MMR is skewed right compared to the 'real' dota 2 population as a whole; just the people who submitted their stats on that site i.e. those 'interested' in their MMR and there are plenty of others who didn't submit because they don't give a fuck or are not aware of that particular site.

        Edit: to answer your original question 5k mmr would be higher than 97.9% according to reddit survey or 93.5 percentile @Dota2toplist.
