I dont know really, maybe these mini patches are like part of some "BIG PICTURE PLAN " for TI-8 that our non-icefrog brain cant comprehend yet. Lock offers much better teamfight than wild Treeman, fatalbonds + rock is really spoopy.

Maybe u haven't noticed that powershot hurts a lot after a recent patch buff, this is ice frog standard, buff nerf, buff nerf!
Living armor is garbage at early levels though. A lvl 1 shadow word heals 15 per second, lvl 4 living armor heals 16. This is not to mention living armor's atrocious cooldown at lower levels and how easy it is to remove in most scenarios. Living armor is one of the worst lvl 1 abilities in the game, 4 hp heal per second on a 30 second cooldown that gets removed if you get hit 4 times.
You only get living armor to max it out asap, ability is crap until then. Heal off chip damage from towers and to win fights across the map and to save allies.
It varies from game to game, but don't bother leveling it if you're not planning on maxing it right afterwards.
