Previous records were deleted, so this is a new database. As of now, there are only 500 players with scores so the top may look weak for a while. It should get better once the better players come in.
Right now, this fresh version of DSR can approximate the level of your last 20 games. If anyone is interested, I can calculate your scores out of queue.
PS: The queue is broken because I use the steam id as the primary key, didn't have time to implement task system but I am working on it as we speak.
^
Would you mind calculating scores of this guy: http://dotabuff.com/players/69020388
Sorry but its still not rly working. Fame has a way 2 high score, people who are better than me have a lower score and people much worse have a much higher score. You rly need to find a better algorithm.
@Blunt @ Fnatic
It counts avg opponent levels from your last 20 games. If they sucked, your rating will suck too ( if you for example stacked with worse players ). This is objective and I trained the model on best TI3 pros.
Besides, this rating is dynamic as it only looks at your last 20 games so it's not like it is set in stone as the previous iteration of DSR was ( it checked your whole acc history ).
If you want accurate rating, go play some games alone and wait for this to refresh.
So this isn't really a player skill evaluation, it's an evaluation of the average skill level of the players in the games you play? If that's the case, then isn't this basically just a way to group games into "Very High" "High" etc MMR like we had before MMR got hidden?
Yep, it was impossible to calculate scores for mid level winrate people. I've tested this method and it resolves skill levels properly across the board.
PS this still is resolving on individual skill evaluation - it's just it evaluates each of your opponents from the last 20 games and bases your DSR on that.
So if you have like 20 bad games in a row. (can happen? :D) then you'll get the worst rating. Is 20 games a big enough sample to calculate your skill level? I had like 11xx points before this and I would guess I have like 300-400 now (based on my last 20 games? :D)
My queue position keeps increasing. I was at around 650, now at 750. What's up with that?
this is rigged
how does a treant picker go from 500 to 1900 with 2 ~ in KDA and a decent mid/carry player with 4-6 KDA doesnt? dont mention opponents or teammates, clearly if you look at his match info and look at their hero performance, you can tell it's in a low tier bracket
Vince Masuka シ Actually this system is really good, and make you space to imrpove your dsr fast. If someone is really good player he can`t have 20 bad games . Everyone have bad games but in 20 that`s like 2-3-4..game and won`t change that much, but still will change. If you play in your last 20 games 25% bad than you don`t deserve high rating isn`t it?Again after that you have space to improve again,I think system is really good and take chance for everyone and showing atm rating.Otherwise some ppl 50% win rate with 3k games will never have chance even they play really good. Cos they sucked their first 2k games..
I honestly think you should use not 20 games but rather last 6 months or last 3 months of games.

Better than 99% progamers. K ill buy it. GJ, not flawed at all.
Blunt @ Fnatic
Player number 20285409 DSR is:
754
This player has a Platinum DSR score .
LOOOL You so good.
Your last 20 games are not even close in very high in your `solo queue`
BogiDotO:
Now mine was 1460, quite surprising. But my point is, you can have - if you are really unlucky like 10 games out of 20 with abandons. But again, it's only 20 so you will bounce back to your old rating fast. Maybe 20 games is fair. I was just wondering about the size of the sample.
btw:
What does this mean?
This player has a Jadeite DSR score .
Compared to what?
Beginner < 20
Copper > 20
Bronze > 100
Silver > 200
Gold > 400
Platinum > 600
Emerald > 800
Pro > 1000
Jadeite > 1300
Mithril > 1500
Vince Masuka シ Look. I have just 8 wins in last 20 games and have 1212. So system works well even if you losing and if you are unlucky with teams. It depends on win/loss ofc but also alot how you play.
so does that mean if you stack with the same players for the last 20 games everyones rating would be the same in that stack?
@BogiDotO:
Oh the 10 yr old logic again.
http://dotabuff.com/players/155186976 <- Better than 99% proplayers. If you rly believe that, then your monkeybrain is even more limited than i thought.
Btw, why did you dodge me? :(
Might I have my super low score calculated please?
As said previously, I'm going backwards in queue.
Thanks for calculating for me! One quick question though. If everyone that played Dota was calculated and laid out on a bar graph in order, would it make a bell curve, or would it be evenly distributed? In other words, are the majority of players in the Gold and Platinum area, or is the score more indicative of your position on a ladder scale?
I don't know how much works it takes but it could be an idea to make a rank for every player, not just the top 10.
Emerald, 854 points. But you are mainly a Huskar-player so... :D
I don't think I'm that good. I also played at least in my last game with people with 500 points and one with 600. Yes, they were not that good from what I've seen but hey, I got matched with them. Maybe I have to give that thing a little bit of time to be accurate. Maybe I underestimate myself. Maybe you still have a lot of work to do. I just don't know. I'm gonna check out the rating for players that got a far too low score so far during the next days.
Thumbs up for your work no matter how perfect this rating is.
Blunt @ Fnatic That`s bad example. Ofc he isn`t better than pros lol but for ppl 200-1700 ratin is pretty fine. You are trying to find most litle bad things in system instead of be thanksfull for someone who make site like this. That stuffs about monkeys what you are talking about just showing how kidi you are still. I added you to friend list,I can help you to man up and maybe we can destroy together your down syndrom.
